WATCH: Steve Carell's Adorable Answers During PEOPLE's Kid Interview

Steve Carell is reuniting with his minions for Despicable Me 3 and answered questions about himself and the animated villain he voices, Gru, from his young fans.

During the interview, one youngster got Carell to reveal the surprising personal story behind how the minion Stewart got his name.

“When my wife and I first met we had a dog named Stewart and when I went to do Despicable Me I was doing the voice of Gru and I started randomly naming minions,” Carell explains. “I said the name because I thought of my dog’s name who isn’t around anymore and it was out of the memory to Stewart my dog that I named Stewart the minion.”

In the new film, Gru (Carell) and his wife, Lucy (Kristen Wiig), are on a mission to stop ’80s child star turned thief Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker) who fights his enemies with dance battles and pink bubble gum. Along the way, Carell meets his long-lost twin brother Dru (also voiced by Carell).

During PEOPLE’s Kid Interview, Carell, 54, also discusses superpowers, knock knock jokes, slumber parties and the minions’ unusual language.

“I understand a tiny bit of it. I can’t speak it. Isn’t it funny that when you listen to the minions you don’t really understand the words but you understand what they are saying,” says Carell. “I think that is the magic of the minions.”

Despicable Me 3 hits theaters June 30.

Dave Chappelle inspires heroic freestyle from The Roots

Jimmy Fallon’s “Freestylin’ With The Roots” on The Tonight Show was going as planned until he found a surprise guest in his audience: Dave Chappelle. The comedian wasn’t fooling anyone in hiding behind his massive sunglasses, though he and Fallon kept up the bit as The Roots performed an improvised song based on Chappelle’s suggestions.

Fallon asked the stand-up comic what his superpower and super-weakness would be if he were a comic book hero. “Disappearing for long periods of time” would be his ability and “the need for money” would force him to materialize again, Chappelle joked of his long hiatus from comedy.

The Roots then came up with this little number: “His name is Dave and he’s just become a comedian. It sounds like lots of fun, and your superpower at least from what I’ve learned, is to disappear, but the money makes you return.”

Chappelle recently performed two stand-up specials for Netflix, which called it the streaming platform’s most watched ever. He also landed a spot in A Star Is Born opposite Lady Gaga as a character named Noodles, and he’ll host Rihanna’s black-tie Diamond Ball in New York City on Sep. 14.

As for summer plans, Chappelle reminded Fallon he’s performing at Radio City Music Hall in the Big Apple for 14 nights.

This Is Us Star Chrissy Metz and Her Boyfriend Are Picture-Perfect on the Red Carpet

Chrissy Metz and her boyfriend Josh Stancil were picture-perfect together on the red carpet Thursday night.

The This Is Us star, 36, brought her boyfriend – who is a cameraman on the hit NBC show – to the Television Academy Host Words Plus Music Celebration.

Metz wore a beautiful scarlet dress that fell below the knees, and a deep red lipstick to match. She balanced out the look with pointed black flats.

Stancil sported a navy suit that complimented Metz’ color palette.

The couple made their public debut in January at Entertainment Weekly’s SAG Awards weekend bash, but Metz did admit to PEOPLE back in October that she was seeing someone.

“Here’s the thing, like, he needs to have his own life. I don’t want him roped into mine, so I just want to protect him,” Metz had shared when Stancil’s identity was still anonymous.

Now, as coworkers, the two have still managed to keep their work professional, vowing not to let their relationship get in the way of the show.

“My priority is my job and his priority is his,” Metz told PEOPLE. She even shared that Stancil offered to quit his job on This Is Us if things got weird – an idea that the actress quickly shut down.

For Metz, the relationship grew naturally, and she couldn’t be happier about that.

“For me, I think meeting organically and seeing someone in their element [is important],” she previously told PEOPLE.

'GLOW': What to expect in season 2

For more on GLOW, pick up the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands Friday and available here. Don’t forget to subscribe for more exclusive interviews and photos, only in EW.

GLOW has yet to scoop up a second season renewal, but its first season has already got audiences in a headlock as more and more viewers pass on the message of Netflix’s “silly-smart masterpiece” set in the ‘80s world of women’s wrestling.

Executive producers Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch are holding the cards close to the chest when it comes to a possible second season, but the duo did let slip a few choice teases about what the trajectory of GLOW could look like. For one thing, don’t bother looking to the real-life G.L.O.W. for hints about the chapters of the sport’s rise and fall.

“We knew pretty early on we wanted to split from the original and create our own fictional version, so we’re kind of on our own,” says Mensch. “We do know that once you know how to wrestle, you can’t unlearn it. So we’re done with the kind of ‘learning the basics’ part of the show. What’s next is the big question mark. But we’re definitely not going back. We’re going forward.”

RELATED: Alison Brie on the Ironic Reaction She’s Gotten to Her Wrestling Character on GLOW’

To that point, GLOW may share DNA with Orange Is the New Black (Jenji Kohan produces both), but Flahive and Mensch applied forward-thinking momentum from GLOW‘s inception and eschewed the approach of flashing back to the origin stories of its central ensemble. “It was never part of our conversation, mostly because it feels very much part of the mission statement of Orange to understand how someone got to where they are, whereas a lot of our story is not about where they’ve been but where they’re going,” says Mensch.

For right now, they’re on their way to homes across the country — slowly, but surely. In the last moments of the season finale, the team’s wrestling pilot finally makes its way to air, marking a major albeit still relatively small victory for the nascent idea. “Honestly we take it so slow in season one — G.L.O.W. is not in the world in our narrative yet,” Flahive says. “They’ve shot a pilot in front of an audience, but it hasn’t gone beyond that in terms of people watching. So the idea of how these characters are in the world and how that hits our women will be an interesting part of our story.” That includes neon heroes and hyperbolic character stereotypes and all. If the unsettling hostility towards Arthie’s (Sunita Mani) terrorist persona was any indicator, expect a good amount of reverberation when TV viewers meet the outrageous archetypes that Sam (Marc Maron) has bestowed upon the wrestlers. “It means one thing to play a stereotype in practice,” says Mensch. “It means another thing to play it on television.”

Outside of the ring, one of the most pressing questions raised by the finale is the fragile status of the show’s central frenemyship between Ruth (Alison Brie) and Debbie (Betty Gilpin), whose final line to Ruth before the credits roll — “We’re not there yet” — may have subverted viewers’ expectations of how the season might wrap up. “Just because a television season ends conveniently after ten episodes, that doesn’t mean that that’s all water under the bridge,” says Mensch. Flahive adds, “Female friendships are very, very complicated and it’s a long road. We wanted to signal that we knew that the trauma to that friendship was deep and real, and we’re excited to explore more and keep it in an authentic place.”

RELATED: GLOW season 1 binge recap

The most exciting thing about season 2, then, is how unpredictable it is for the showrunners themselves, who say the season 1 finale — which ended with Welfare Queen stealing the crown from Liberty Belle — was an unexpected development for them in the writers’ room. “We had been building a U.S. versus Russia match the entire season, and the more we understood wrestling, the more we realized we needed to throw a monkey wrench into that,” says Mensch. “It was part of our season discovery in what wrestling fans really like. The more we got to understand wrestling, the more that we learned wrestling was about surprising the audience and surprising ourselves.”

The full first season of GLOW is available on Netflix.

'RuPaul's Drag Race' queens trade zany insults in new 'Cherry Pop' movie trailer

There’s a first time for everything, and no one knows that better than the drag queens in EW’s exclusive new trailer for the upcoming comedy Cherry Pop.

The comedy, which features several RuPaul’s Drag Race graduates including Bob the Drag Queen, Latrice Royale, Detox, and Tempest DuJor, follows several performers across a single night at a failing drag bar, comically exploring the ladies’ catty backstage backstabbing and the onstage antics of the club’s flashiest showgirls. When a newcomer (Lars Berge) shows up for his first night under the spotlight, he struggles to carve a niche for himself next to his seasoned sisters (vicious competitors, to boot) and a legendary staple on the scene who comes to terms with her life as she preps for her final night in drag.

“Girl. I don’t know how long this night has felt for y’all, but let me tell you, backstage, this is one hell of a night,” Bob tells an eager crowd waiting to see Berge’s character’s debut. “It is time for somebody to get that cherry popped!”

Footage that follows sees the queens taking hilarious jabs at each other (and other people) as they dress themselves (and their faces) behind the curtain.

“Listen here you 1987, Rhythm Nation, fat ass, Janet Jackson wannabe!” Detox quips to another queen in front of a makeup mirror. Later, Bob throws down an epic insult of his own, calling a seemingly drag-phobic character a “Toby Keith, Duck Dynasty, Devil’s Rejects, John Wayne-looking, mayonnaise-on-a-grilled-cheese-eatin’ sandwich muthaf—a!”

Cherry Pop premieres July 10 in Los Angeles as part of OutFest and screens the next day at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre. The film hits VOD later this fall. Watch EW’s exclusive trailer above, and check out the movie’s poster below..

Listen to Damon Albarn on new Mura Masa track ‘Blu’

Mura Masa has unveiled a new track featuring Damon Albarn.

The UK producer, real name Alex Crossan, will release his self-titled debut album on July 14. It features guest appearances from Charli XCX, Desiigner, A$AP Rocky and more.

You can hear the Albarn-featuring track, titled ‘Blu’, at Apple Music.

Speaking to NME recently, Crossan said: “Meeting Damon Albarn was mad because [Gorillaz album] ‘Demon Days’ was the first album I bought, so getting to meet up and actually work with him was crazy.”

“Originally we were talking about the Gorillaz record [‘Humanz’] and I was going to do some work on that, so I was asking questions like ‘What was it about? What should I be going for? What sounds should I use?’, and he put his hand on my leg and went, ‘we will see each other again – don’t worry’. That was very comforting and really special. I think I was being mentored by him in a way, whatever his intentions.”

Mura Masa also spoke about being labelled the “new Calvin Harris”.

He said: “Am I the next Calvin Harris? No. I think he has his own thing going on. I don’t know what I’m going to do next as well – like he went from being a little Scottish weedy kid making funk music to dating Taylor Swift and making number one records. And now he’s kind of pulling it back – it’s gone back into funk world. I’m a huge fan of him. He’s one of the best producers of the 21st century. Hopefully I’ll have a similar narrative to his where I try different things and grow like he did.”

Shark Week schedule: Your guide to all 18 specials

EW has unloosed from the jaws of Discovery the schedule for the next edition of Shark Week, and that eight-day marathon of sharks, sharks, and more sharks will offer up a shiver of 18 programs after it breaches on July 23.

Record-munching Olympian Michael Phelps will anchor two specials, one in which he tries to take a shark to school by racing it, and another in which he goes to school, or rather, the Bimini Shark Lab, where he’ll learn all about the fearsome predator. There’s also a program that examines a showdown between sharks and crocodiles in Australia, and another Down Under-set one that will make a visit to the Isle of Jaws to study the Great White. There’s an edition of Alien Sharks that examines something chillingly called the goblin shark — and whose title makes a pun off Stranger Things. (Alien Sharks: Stranger Fins. It was there for the taking, and they took it).

Eli Roth will return to host five installments of wrap-up-and-preview show Shark After Dark. Oh, and if you thought this year’s installment of Shark Week surely would have no connection to Sex and the City, you have gambled unwisely. There are two specials titled Sharks and the City: L.A., and Sharks and the City: New York, with the latter being narrated by Chris “Mr. Big” Noth.

To help you fish through this gam of programming — which is returning for its 29th edition — check out the schedule below and then plan your deep dive of danger accordingly.

SUNDAY, JULY 23
Great White Shark Serial Killer Lives (7 p.m. ET/PT)
Official logline: “
Every two years in October — in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014 — a secluded beach on the central California coast has been the scene of great white shark attacks. Is it the same shark returning again and again? And will the attacks continue in October 2016? Dr. Michael Domeier believes the Surf Beach attacks may be more than a tragic coincidence. With the help of shark experts Ralph Collier and Cal Lutheran, and using satellite tags and DNA technology, he wants to out the killer once and for all.”

Phelps Vs Shark: Great Gold Vs Great White (8 p.m. ET/PT)
“They are one of the fastest and most efficient predators on the planet: Sharks. He is our greatest champion to ever get in the water: Michael Phelps. 39 world records. 23 Olympic golds. The world’s most decorated athlete takes on the ocean’s most efficient predator: Phelps Vs Shark – The race is on!”

Shark-Croc Showdown (9:10 p.m. ET/PT)
“Dr. Mark Meekan and conservationist Paul de Gelder go on an expedition to one the sharkiest places in the world – a remote wilderness called the Cobourg Peninsula in the Northern Territory of Australia. Meekan is there to count sharks and species as part of Vulcan’s Global FinPrint project – Paul de Gelder’s going because he heard that sharks and crocs fight over sea turtles out there. What happens when 14-foot crocodiles move into shark infested waters? That’s what they’re going to find out!”

Devil Sharks (10:10 p.m. ET/PT)
“From active to extinct, and at very stage in between. volcanoes hold a strong attraction for sharks of all kinds. Across the world, sharks congregate and concentrate around volcanoes and volcanic islands. What is it about volcanoes that make them shark hotspots? Dr. Mike Heithaus dives several volcanoes to find out.”

Shark After Dark (11:10 p.m. ET/PT)
“Shark After Dark will look back at some of the highlights from Shark Week and look ahead to give viewers a sneak peek at the next day’s Shark Week programs. Eli Roth returns as host for the third year in a row.”

MONDAY, JULY 24
Shark Vortex (8 p.m. ET/PT)
“Each summer the Gulf Stream pushes north into the waters of southern New England, bringing with it thirty species of shark. Greg Skomal and Joe Romeiro study the annual spectacle, focusing on three sharks – makos, great whites, and porbeagles – that can out-swim, out-think, and out-compete all the others.”

Return to the Isle of Jaws (9 p.m. ET/PT)
“Divers and scientists Return to the Isle of Jaws to unlock the mysteries of this new great white hot spot, just south of Western Australia. They make a startling discovery that causes a re-think of everything we thought we knew about great whites.”

Shark After Dark (11 p.m. ET/PT)

TUESDAY, JULY 25
Sharks and the City: L.A. (9 p.m. ET/PT)
“Along the coastline of LA, great white sharks are increasing and they seem to be hunting out of season. Dr. Chris Lowe, Director of the CSULB Shark Lab, wants to know why. His investigation takes him to Guadalupe Island, off Mexico, where he finds the answer.”

Sharks and the City: New York (10 p.m. ET/PT)
“For decades, great white shark numbers were in decline in the waters around New York. But now, seals are back in New York Harbor – can the great whites be far behind? Marine biologist Craig O’Connell tries to find out how close they really are, and shows what a future with great whites in New York will look like.”

The Great Hammerhead Invasion (10 p.m. ET/PT)
“Early November, Giant Hammerheads arrive off Bimini, in the Bahamas. But why? Leading shark scientist Tristan Guttridge tags and follows these normally solitary sharks to find out. Many appear to be pregnant females, as an ultrasound of a female hammerhead shows. Guttridge believes they over-winter in Bimini to feed the growing young in their bellies – and then move on to the Florida coast to prey on migrating blacktips – and the evidence is unmistakable.”

Shark After Dark (11 p.m. ET/PT)

THURSDAY, JULY 27
Shark Exile (9 p.m. ET/PT)
“In Brazil, Dr. Hazin has successfully reduced the number of shark encounters by simply catching and moving sharks out to the open sea. What’s his secret? And can this solution work in Australia, where encounters are a problem?”

Shark Swarm (10 p.m. ET/PT)
“At various times of the year and in different locations around the world, sharks of many kinds gather, swarm, and spiral. Dr. Tristan Guttridge conducts a study of just what brings them together, and what’s going on in these shark ‘societies.'”

Shark After Dark (11 p.m. ET/PT)

FRIDAY, JULY 28
African Shark Safari (9 p.m. ET/PT)
“Madagascar is not known as a location for great white sharks. According to the shark sanctuary here, both great whites and tigers are ‘extinct’ in Madagascan waters. So why has a great white shark, tagged in South Africa, travelled 1500 miles up the African coast to Madagascar? Craig O’Connell and the team make the long journey to the remote island nation to investigate and see if Madagascar is the next big great white shark hotspot.”

Lair of the Sawfish (10 p.m. ET/PT)

“Michael Phelps joins Doc Gruber and Tristan Guttridge of the Bimini Shark Lab to get a crash course on everything ‘shark’. They’ll dispel the myths and common misconceptions, teach him how to safely dive with sharks – including how to stay calm when a hammerhead swims two feet above his face — and will get Michael Phelps up close and personal with the incredible power of a Great White.”

For those shark fans who can’t wait until July 23 for Shark Week to begin, Discovery has teamed up with Fathom Events for a one-night event on July 18. Shark Week at the Movies will premiere Return to the Isle of Jaws and screen Return of the Monster Mako from Shark Week 2016 in various movie theaters across the U.S.

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' praised as best 'Spider-Man' movie yet

Following glowing reactions on social media from critics, the first wave of full-fledged reviews are out with equally effusive takes on the John Hughes-esque superhero movie from director Jon Watts. “The best Spider-Man movie to date” is a phrase fans will see again and again.

EW’s own Leah Greenblatt questions, “Is there anything new under the Spidey-sun that could possibly justify another iteration of a hero who has already been portrayed in uncountable ways on page and screen and stage for over half a century?” The answer, in short, is yes. She further calls Homecoming “a brightly contemporary retelling that is not so much an origin story as a coming of age: The On-His-Way-to-Amazing Spider-Boy.”

Sony, which partnered with Disney’s Marvel Studios for the film, has had a rough history with the web-slinger property: Sam Raimi’s trilogy, though still time-tested, was marred by the final installment and Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man films could not stick the landings. But Homecoming is the first Spider-Man film since Sony and Marvel struck a deal to bring Peter Parker into the world of The Avengers.

While many critics found the fun in this take on a Spider-Man that’s very much a teenager grappling with his super-heroic responsibilities, there were some dissenters. The Hollywood Reporter‘s John DeFore called Homecoming an “occasionally exciting but often frustrating film.” Variety‘s Owen Gleiberman pointed out the “aggressively eager and prosaic YA flavor,” though he’s not necessarily calling it a distractor.

Tom Holland headlines the film as Spider-Man after his pop-in for Captain America: Civil War. Michael Keaton takes the villain role of Vulture, while the cast is rounded out by Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Donald Glover, and Tony Revolori.

With 31 reviews and counting, Homecoming is enjoying a 97 percent “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Read more reviews below.

Leah Greenblatt (Entertainment Weekly)
“Director Jon Watts—whose short resume includes a horror movie called Clown and 2015’s little-seen Kevin Bacon thriller Cop Car—doesn’t deprive his audience of the awe-ful, large-scale action sequences that are essentially written into the contract, but his true interest seems to be grounded less in things that go zoom than in a much more John Hughes-y sort of teen normalcy. (A visual joke early on involving an actual clip from Ferris Beuller’s Day Off feels like no coincidence). That the movie comes off as loose and sweet and light on its feet as it is feels like sort of minor Marvel miracle. Whether Watts can swing this boy into super manhood with his endearing humanity intact is a question only time, and the next sequel, will tell.”

Owen Gleiberman (Variety)
“Peter has a best bud, the roly-poly and easily wowed Ned (Jacon Batalon), and he’s got a crush on Liz (Laura Harrier), a senior who’s on the Decathlon team. The biracial romance is a step in the right direction, but at one point the two are poised in an upside-down kiss that never materializes, which only reminds you of how much the film is feeding off its legacy. It’s fine — and true enough to Marvel — to make a Spider-Man movie about a young adult, but Spider-Man: Homecoming has an aggressively eager and prosaic YA flavor.”

John DeFore (The Hollywood Reporter)
“Satisfying from its day-of-the-dance prelude (where Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May shines) all the way to its fiery, cathartic conclusion, this sequence hints at the film Homecoming might have been — had Marvel Studios execs and a half-dozen screenwriters not worked so hard to integrate Peter Parker into their money-minting world. But integrate they do, and the film wraps up with an ending recalling the incoherent, have-it-both-ways finale of Iron Man 3 — attempting to embrace the ‘friendly neighborhood Spider-Man’ ethos while exploiting the rich-dude glitz afforded by Spidey’s new buddies. Hang in there, True Believers: Maybe it’ll get better the second time around.”

Mike Ryan (UPROXX)
“In my book (I don’t have a book but whatever), Spider-Man: Homecoming is the best Spider-Man movie to date. That does come with a caveat that Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man 2 are going for different things and both are great. But, tonally, I just love this incarnation of a Peter Parker who just loves being Spider-Man. There’s literally a scene of him giving a woman directions because he’s so eager to help in any way he can. It’s vague what’s happened to Uncle Ben in this movie (so vague that Ben is never mentioned by name) but there’s really no way this Spider-Man feels responsible for the death of a family member. He’s too happy and likes being Spider-Man too much. And after two Spider-Man franchises that have built up the death of Ben Parker as a huge plot point, it’s actually refreshing not to be burdened with that this time.”

Matt Singer (ScreenCrush)
“I love Spider-Man more than any other fictional character (and more than most of the real people in my life outside of my immediate family). I’ve loved him since I saw him on The Electric Company, where he spoke in word balloons and had a groovy theme song and the coolest costume I’d ever seen. He means something important, not just to me but to millions of readers and viewers. It pained me to watch The Amazing Spider-Man series, which took some very well-cast leads, and dumped them into stories that were studio-noted and post-produced into incoherence. After two mopey, miserable slogs, Spider-Man: Homecoming is a return to form, featuring an incredibly likable cast, a compelling and complicated villain, and a irrepressibly charming Spider-Man. Welcome home, Peter.”

David Ehrlich (IndieWire)
“When Homecoming works, it does so by borrowing more from the likes of Sixteen Candles and Just One of the Guys than it does Iron Man or any of the other 412 previous installments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It works by repurposing all that superhero stuff as a shiny new backdrop for the timeless dilemma of adolescence: How do you reconcile the person you are with the person you pretend to be? In other words, Homecoming works by doing something that no Marvel (or DC) movie has done before, something that shows how this monolithic cinematic universe might hope to sustain itself once Thanos has been vanquished to the great space armchair in the sky and modern cinema’s biggest mega-franchise becomes desperate for new ways to feel fresh.”

Peter Travers (Rolling Stone)
“Spider-Man: Homecoming feels fresh off the drawing board, as if he was a character with the dew still on him. The movie is as high school as a John Hughes comedy – think The Breakfast Club or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – in which teens talk like teens instead of old-school Hollywood cynics aching to sound young. Six writers are credited with the script and I’m guessing it was a bloodbath, but what’s onscreen pops with the jumpy, unpolished energy of adolescents on the march through puberty. Homecoming gives his character and his teen trauma genuine context.”

Robert Abele (The Wrap)
“The most obvious novelty to this version of the webslinger’s story is a hammered-home reminder that while Peter Parker is a legitimate threat to any supervillain, he’s also only 15 years old. To that end, Tom Holland’s casting is a real plus, his fresh-faced buoyancy, hyper earnestness and general teen-ness a far cry from the too-old-for-high-school vibe of Maguire and especially Garfield, and placing this Spider-Man firmly in John Hughes territory.”

Angie Han (Mashable)
“What really gives Homecoming an edge, though, is its specificity. Watts sets his film in a New York City that actually feels like New York City (there are even bodega cats!), and then fills his cast with big talents who can make the most of tiny roles. You could argue that these stars are being wasted – sequel possibilities aside, why cast Zendaya or Tony Revolori to do that little? – but Homecoming gives them the room to breathe and come alive. Even a boring debate teacher played by Martin Starr will get a line or two that suggests a complicated history and hidden depths. Were Homecoming just another coming-of-age comedy, it’d be a very solid one. You could almost mistake it for one, if it weren’t for repeat appearances by the likes of Iron Man as Peter’s mentor and Vulture as Peter’s nemesis.”

Brian Truitt (USA Today)
“The remarkable and refreshing first solo adventure…for Tom Holland’s teenage superhero comes with an important to-do list — differentiate its new lead youngster from other Spider-Men, add nuance to a 55-year-old character, plus somehow tie into the overall Marvel cinematic saga without being annoying about it. Director Jon Watts’ film undoubtedly succeeds by making it about a boy rather than his wall-crawling alter ego. If nothing else, Homecoming makes this very clear: Peter Parker is an unspectacular, not-that-amazing Spider-Man, but dagnabbit, the kid’s going to be just fine.”

Spider-Man: Homecoming will open in theaters on July 7.

'Pretty Little Liars': Troian Bellisario on that A.D. reveal

Spoiler alert: This post contains plot details from the series finale of Pretty Little Liars.

For years, Pretty Little Liars fans wondered if the twin twist would make its way onto the show. And when Jessica DiLaurentis was revealed to have a twin in season 6, they thought they were done. But what they didn’t know was, there was another evil twin lurking overseas.

In the PLL series finale, A.D. was revealed to be Alex Drake, Spencer’s twin who had spent most of her life living in London until she met Wren. Wren then told her all about Rosewood and the Hastings and even helped introduce her to Charlotte, her half-sister. So when Charlotte was murdered, Alex did the only thing she could think to do: She flew to Rosewood and decided to torture the Liars until she identified Charlotte’s killer.

RELATED: Pretty Little Liars series finale: I. Marlene King reveals her original idea for A.D., a deleted Wren scene, more

But once Alex got a taste of Spencer’s life, she couldn’t walk away … but thankfully Mona was there to make sure she did (and furthermore, to lock her in a dollhouse for the rest of her life).

EW spoke with A.D. herself, series star Troian Bellisario, about the twist.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: I almost just congratulated you on being A.D. which seems odd but maybe works.
TROIAN BELLISARIO: [Laughs] It’s kind of fitting. It’s definitely something that I am very happy to receive congratulations for.

So when Marlene first brought you this in season 5, did she lay it all out or was it just an idea?
It was really just a description of major plot points. She didn’t even say anything about Wren I don’t think. It was more just, “This is what happened to the family so there is this person now here.” I really didn’t know anything about her. Really the character of Alex and her relationship with Wren, none of that was flushed out until, I think for Marlene, leading into the seventh season. So I didn’t get to know where she was from or her backstory until we’d already started to see her. It was a little bit like we were painting her as we were going along, which was fine because one the one hand, she’s impersonating Spencer and you’re not supposed to know that she’s a different person. But it was also really important for me that if she was impersonating Spencer, that there has to be a fully formed character underneath her that’s trying on this personality. So I learned about it a while ago but I really didn’t get the details until probably last year.

In all that time, did you have to keep yourself from starting to try and form a character?
Oh yeah. Marlene had so many things and she was also focusing on Famous In Love, so it was hard to get her to pin [anything] down. I was like, “Just give me a location so I can start to work on an accent!” [Laughs] She would be like, “She’s from the U.K.,” and I was like, “Oh, oh, my god, okay great. Where in the U.K.?” And she’s like, “I don’t know, somewhere in London.” “Marlene, there are so many accents in London, where is she from?” She was like, “I don’t know, she shouldn’t sound like Julian.” I was like, “Okay, so she’s not going to sound like Julian Morris, great.” She’d toss out new things to me. It was a fun game that I got to play and I would bring her back ideas of, “What if she was working at a bar?” And then by the time the finale rolled around, she had gotten really specific with where she wanted Alex to be from and how she wanted her to move and sound like and all that.

I loved that bartending look. That was A+.
[Laughs] I wanted something that was really not Spencer, and I really wanted her to be… I kind of wanted her to be like a punk. That’s what I said. If I could shave my head and still play both roles, I would’ve. I wanted there to be a mohawk, so we did that faux mohawk. She had a chipped tooth. She was just a great character. I was like, “Oh, I could go anywhere with this.”

I wish I’d gotten to see more of this character because there was so much story to unpack. But at the base of it, what would you say was driving her?
I do really think it’s love. You’re right because it was so much story packed into so little time, but we had to make the most out of these scenes. But if you look at them and if you watch them again, all of her reasons are really family. When she is alone and Wren comes out of nowhere and falls in love with her and she and Wren and Archer Dunhill and Charlotte have a life together as couples and friends, she was content. She didn’t need to come back to Rosewood; she didn’t need to find out who Spencer was. She knew she existed but she had her sister and she had someone she was in love with and she had a life. It really wasn’t until Charlotte wanted to finish the game and went back to Rosewood and was killed that she couldn’t let it go. That was when she started to have that obsession with Spencer, particularly because she was like, “Is this the sister that took my sister away? The person responsible for taking away the only family I’ve ever had?” Once she starts to see how good Spencer has it and how much of her life she stole, I think she feels justified in all of her actions, and eventually in assuming Spencer’s life.

That’s why in some ways, her ending isn’t terrible because at least she’s with her mom, whom she didn’t have for a long time.
It’s true! It’s funny because she’s with her mom and that means a lot to her and I think at that point she’s just bummed because Toby picked Spencer over her and she wasn’t able to fool him and she was really pissed about that. I think right now she’s just pissed that somebody else won the game. But it’s definitely the best way that that could have gone. She could be in a cell totally alone in jail but she’s with her mom in a pretty dollhouse.

Life could be worse.
I mean come on, Alex! Life could be worse!

I want to talk about fighting yourself. That tackle looked legit.
Thank you. It was really fun to fight myself. I had amazing doubles and literally could not have done any of this without them but I also love doing fight scenes so when they were like, “You’re going to fight yourself,” I was like, “I get to shoot two versions of the same fight scene? Done! Let’s do this!”

I know you talked about how, in a lot of the scenes in which you were Alex pretending to be Spencer, you filmed with the people who didn’t know you weren’t playing Spencer.
Oh yeah.

Was there ever a moment where someone almost caught you?
There was one moment that was really funny. It was the first time I was ever playing Alex, which is the scene where she wakes up Hanna. I remember I’d been playing with her trying to imitate an American accent and did she mess up? Marlene was like, “No don’t mess up.” But it was funny because I’ll never forget — I leaned over and I think the first line is, “Hanna?” And I think I said [does accent] “Hanna?” And Ashley peaked her eyes up at me like, “What did you just say?” I was like, “Umm, nothing.” When I slipped and everybody looked at me, I was like, “Oh this is what it feels like if you f–k up as Alex. Don’t do this again because if you mess up as Alex, that’s what it looks like.”

Adele Reportedly Shares Handwritten Note Ahead of Final 25 Shows: 'I Don’t Know If I'll Ever Tour Again'

Adele has said hello to the world, but she might find that saying goodbye is a little harder.

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer, 29, reportedly left a handwritten note to fans buried in tour programs for her final concerts at Wembley Stadium in the U.K., hinting that she might be done with touring according to The Sun.

“So this is it after 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end,” the note reads. “We have taken this tour across uk+ Ireland, throughout Europe, all over America and I finally got to go to Australia and New Zealand too.”

??????????????Photo by Traci @tracii_m Translation by @wannabeadkins Adele @Adele's letter from her your book! "So this is it after 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end. We have taken this tour across uk+ Ireland, throughout Europe, all over America and I finally got to go to Australia and New Zealand too. Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn't suit me particularly well. I'm a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I'm dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is! I've done 119 shows and these last 4 will take me up to 123, it has been hard out an absolute thrill and pleasure to have done. I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artist have had on me live. And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don't know if I'll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home. Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life. Love you. Goodnight for now" ??Adele #Adele #Adelettes #AdeleLive2017

She continues, “Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring.”

Adele writes that the “terrible history” changed with the 25 tour, completing 119 shows before wrapping up with her final four show dates at Wembley Stadium in the U.K.

“I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artists have had on me live,” she writes. “And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.”

She concluded her message with a final goodbye, writing, “I will remember all of this for the rest of my life. Love you. Goodnight for now.”

The Oscar winner has raised questions in the past as to whether she could ever tour again. In March, Adele revealed during a concert in Auckland, New Zealand, that she had crippling stage fright that was only “getting worse.

“Touring isn’t something I’m good at. Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again,” Adele admitted to the New Zealand audience in a candid moment during the show, the New Zealand Herald reports. “The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag. My greatest accomplishment in my career is this tour.”

After Adele’s celebrity status was cemented with the release of her album 19, the star disappeared from the limelight for years, before making her comeback with her Grammy Award-winning album 25 in 2015.

TLC's new album will make fans nostalgic: EW review

“We don’t need no introduction,” sing the two surviving members of TLC at the start of their first album in 15 years.

But, apparently, they do think they need some kind of recap. Towards the start of their comeback release, out Friday, the pair offers prominent shout-outs to their biggest hits, “No Scrubs” and “Waterfalls,” setting up an album rife with retro references.

TLC — the only full set of songs to appear since the death of the group’s third member, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, in 2002 — courts nostalgia at every turn. The music consistently references the hip-hop-inflected R&B of the group’s ’90s prime, offering just a few nods to the modern sound of trap. In “Way Back,” the group serves up a decent G-funk rehash, boosted by a guest rap from — who else? — Snoop Dogg. For “It’s Sunny,” they slink back further, sampling Bobby Hebb’s 1966 lounge standard “Sunny,” as well as Earth Wind and Fire’s ubiquitous ’70s party jam, “September.”

TLC’s two remaining stars, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, didn’t try to replace their “L” member with a new rapper. As a result, the new music leans towards their pop side. It also largely steers clear of attitude. Only “Aye Motherf—er” revives the old sass. (“You’re trippin’ and I could care less about it/ You should have known/ It don’t work that way.”)

The singers did move ahead in one sense: Their nostalgia is informed by a mature perspective. In key tracks, they offer sage advice to younger women with self-esteem issues (“Haters,” “Perfect Girl”). In the tradition of “Unpretty,” they sing, “Perfect girls ain’t real/ They hide who they are inside/ It’s always on your mind / ‘Cause you’re online all the time/ Gotta learn to love yourself, inside and out.”

In other tracks, they express loyalty and durability, both to each other and to their audience (“Way Back,” “Joy Ride”). “The road got lonely,” they sing in the latter. “Sometimes I was afraid/ But luckily I had you/ To ride the wave/ Thank you for stayin’ by my side/ Hope you all enjoy the ride.” Yes, TLC easily could have gotten away with naming the album Girlz 2 Women.

But if the new songs are likable enough, none eclipse those of their peak. Luckily, TLC has always had as much to do with an emotional connection as with the music. Here, they stoke it in ways likely to give longtime fans a nice glow.

Key Tracks

“Sunny” features the sort of sweet R&B-pop melody that has become a Madonna specialty.

“American Gold” is a rare political song from TLC, addressing the country in the age of terror.

'Despicable Me 3': EW review

It’s not easy being Gru. Once he was a proud supervillain, a stealer of moons and a master of Minions, blissfully Despicable in every way. Then came three Bambi-eyed orphans, Margo and Edith and Agnes, and a paternal love he had never known: Suddenly, he was an overseer of bedtime stories and ballet recitals; a man who voluntarily threw princess-themed birthday parties and made sure tiny teeth got brushed. In the final scenes of 2013’s Despicable Me 2, he even found true romance with Lucy (Kristen Wiig), the lady who once lipstick-tased him.

But what becomes of a Respectable Him? Sustaining the cinematic arc (and endless merchandising opportunities) of a bad Gru gone good is the tricky, sometimes thankless task faced by Illumination Entertainment’s giddy but scattershot sequel. Their solution comes straight from the playbook of ’80s soap operas and Schwarzenegger comedies: Give the man a long-lost twin—separated at birth, Parent Trap-style, in a postdivorce custody deal between his spectacularly callous mother (Julie Andrews) and the dad he never knew. (“But I thought you said my father died of disappointment when I was born,” Gru — voiced once again by Steve Carell in droll, dinner-theater-Dracula undertones — says mournfully when he hears the news.)

Though Dad may be gone, Dru survives: a fun-house mirror of his brother blessed with the same Spongebob Square-bod and garden-spade nose, except he looks less like Lurch than a lost Bee Gee, all creamy knitwear and feathery golden mane. He is also very, very rich, the scion of a pig-farm dynasty in faraway Freedonia, a magical land of sparkling fountains and soft cheeses. But Dru’s dearest wish, now that they’ve been reunited, is to have Gru teach him how to carry on the family’s felonious legacy. Opportunity arrives in the leering, mulleted form of Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker), a former child star laid low by the cruelest villain of all, puberty. Still hopelessly stuck in the passé fashions of his ’80s glory days — he never strolls when he can moonwalk, and shouts catchphrases like “Son of a Betamax!” when he’s mad — Bratt plans to wreak havoc on the Hollywood that rejected him, and finance his nefarious plan by stealing a diamond as pink as a panther and big as the Ritz.

Like most sequels, Despicable 3 works hard to chase the easy charm of the original, and the flop sweat often shows in its hectic pacing and disjointed script. The girls are mostly sidelined by unicorn quests and the quirks of Freedonian marriage customs, and the Minions, those jabbering, thumb-shaped apricots in overalls, shear off almost entirely, caught up in their own Escape From Alcatraz subplot. What shines through is the visual wit and innate sweetness of the storytelling, and Carell’s cackling, cueball-skulled misanthrope — a (mostly) reformed scoundrel who can still have his cake, and arsenic too. Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt finally get to work together

Friends Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are finally getting a chance to work together — just not in the way you might expect.

The actors — who were previously tied to a Guys and Dolls remake and currently have a musical comedy in the works — will provide the English voiceover for the central characters of Comrade Detective, an Amazon Studios and A24 comedy shot in Romania. Set during the 1980s at the peak of Cold War hysteria, the show follows Detectives Gregor Anghel and Iosef Baciu (played on-screen by Florin Piersic Jr. and Corneliu Ulici, respectively) as they investigate the murder of fellow officer Nikita Ionesco and simultaneously uncover a plot to destroy their country by capitalism.

The conceit of the series is that it’s Romania’s most popular TV show created by the government to entertain viewers and espouse communist ideals while also inspiring nationalism and love of country. In Comrade Detective’s fictional world, the once-forgotten show has been “brought back” and remastered years after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Other members of the show’s voice cast include Jenny Slate (Gifted), Chloë Sevigny (Bloodline), Jake Johnson (New Girl), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Fred Armisen (Documentary Now!), Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Bobby Cannavale (Master of None), Mark Duplass (Safety Not Guaranteed), Katie Aselton Duplass (Legion), Jerrod Carmichael (The Carmichael Show), Bo Burham (The Big Sick), John Early (Search Party), Tracey Letts (The Lovers), Debra Winger (The Lovers), Jason Mantzoukas (The League), and Richard Jenkins (The Visitor).

The Sitter‘s Brian Gatewood and Alex Tanaka created and executive-produce the series along with Rhys Thomas (Documentary Now!), who’ll also be directing. Other executive producers on the project include Tatum himself, Reid Carolin (Logan Lucky), Peter Kiernan (Mad Love), and Andrew Schneider, as well as Ravi Nandan (The Carmichael Show) and John Hodges (Safety Not Guaranteed).

“In a world of global television, it was inevitable that the best comedy of the year would come from Romania. Well, that day has come,” head of comedy, drama, and VR at Amazon Studios, Joe Lewis, said in a statement. “Comrade Detective is unbelievably compelling, visually brilliant, and Gregor and Iosef are the heroes we need. Thanks to A24, Channing Tatum, Rhys Thomas, Brian Gatewood, Alex Tanaka, as well as the incredibly creative team behind this wild new series.”

Added A24: “As passionate fans of cinema and television, we have long heard about this genre-defining show and are thrilled to work with Free Association and Amazon to bring it to audiences.”

Comrade Detective will be available to stream Aug. 4 on Amazon Prime Video.

Luke from ‘Gilmore Girls’ is launching his own coffee brand

Gilmore Girls actor Scott Patterson is set to launch his own brand of coffee.

Patterson has played Luke Danes in the cult TV show since its original run from 2000 to 2007, reprising the role of the small-town diner owner for Netflix’s revival mini-series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, last year.

Despite his character’s well-known dislike for coffee, the actor has now revealed that he has plans to enter the coffee business. The brand won’t have any links to the Gilmore Girls name. Instead it’ll be called Scotty P’s Big Mug Coffee.

Patterson has told Wealth Management: “I’m developing my own coffee brand. We’re almost ready to launch, but we want to have our ducks in a row before we come out with it.”

“Quality coffee is something that I am obsessed with,” he added. “It’s the thing I look forward to every morning and throughout the day and throughout the evening and now throughout the middle of the night. It’s going to be called Scotty P’s Big Mug Coffee.”

Last year saw Patterson serve Gilmore Girls fans coffee in a special pop-up diner to mark the launch of the revival series.

Despite the revival series receiving mixed reviews, there has been reports of Gilmore Girls returning to Netflix this year.

Alexis Bledel, who plays Rory Gilmore in the show, recently said discussions about a potential new series haven’t happened yet

Bledel also said the show’s future would come down to “the story” and “the timing”. “We had the fan reunion in Austin and we picked up momentum [for the revival] from there, and it came together so quickly, and it really seemed like the right thing,” she said.

“I think most of us are just wanting to tell a good story, and I think that came together in A Year In The Life. The only thing I can say about a future installment the show is it would be about the story and certainly the timing.”

The ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’ first trailer has been released

A touring exhibition of Kurt Cobain’s ‘artwork, personal artifacts and memorabilia’ is in the works

A touring exhibition featuring artwork, personal artifacts and memorabilia created and owned by Kurt Cobain is being planned.

The Nirvana frontman painted the cover of the band’s ‘Incesticide‘ record as well as creating other pieces of art, some of which were shown for the first time in the 2015 film Montage Of Heck.

Two of Cobain’s paintings, which have never been exhibited before, will be showcased at Seattle Art Fair between August 3-6. The New York Times reports this is the first stages of the exhibition, which is said to have a similar concept to the Rolling Stones’ ‘Exhibitionism’.

Joshua Roth, director for United Talent Agency Fine Arts, told the paper the company was planning to “create a touring exhibition that really tells the story of who Kurt was through artworks, personal artifacts and memorabilia, sort of like what the Rolling Stones did in London.”

The paintings shown in Seattle are both described as “distorted” with similarities to the ‘Incesticide’ cover. They will not be available for purchase. Roth said: “It’s too hard to put a price on them. They’re very special to the family.”

He added that Cobain’s estate includes “dozens” more pieces of artwork, including “several paintings, many drawings, many sculptures”.

UTA is also reportedly working on a feature-length motion picture about Cobain’s life.

Meanwhile, Frances Bean Cobain has opened a new art exhibition with Lindsey Way of the band Mindless Self Indulgence.

Artnet News reports that the 24-year-old daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love has a new exhibition running at Gallery 30 South in Pasadena, California called ‘Ghosts for Sale‘. It is a joint show with Lindsey Way, the wife of My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way who goes by the stage name Lyn-Z.

Cobain’s works have already sold out, selling for between $1,200 (£1,076) and $4,500 (£4,037).

“I think what’s really great about this body of work that Frances has put together is that there’s a real confidence in the line and the mixed media,” gallery director Matt Kennedy told artnet News“I love the bold use of color. She seems to have an inherent capacity for composition and color theory.”

Kennedy added: “France’s ability to use of color is in line with that of very established artists who know the rules and then break them in a way that makes sense and pushes the work forward. You never really see that in young artists.”

Smashing Pumpkins’ drummer hints at 2018 reunion for original line-up

Smashing Pumpkins‘ original drummer has suggested the band’s classic, first line-up could reunite next year.

Jimmy Chamberlin, who rejoined the group in 2006 for three years and then for a second time in 2015, added to frontman Billy Corgan‘s comments that he was planning to record an album with “people who used to be in the band”.

Speaking to WGN Radio, Chamberlin said: “We were talking about playing next year with the band and somebody asked me, you know, ‘What’s it like trying to co-ordinate that?'”

He continued: “I said it’s like ‘Grumpy Old Men 3′, only there are four grumpy old men and one’s a woman’. So… that’s how it’s gotten to be.”

Talking about the dynamic between himself and Corgan, the drummer said: “The two hours that we spend playing music together is the greatest thing in the world. It’s the other 22 hours of the day that him and I are… He’s got opinions, I’ve got opinions. We’re both grown men, right?”

If the original Smashing Pumpkins line-up did reunite, it would be the first time they had played together since 1999, as Musicfeeds.com.au notes. Bassist D’Arcy Wretzky left the band in 1999 to pursue an acting career (although Corgan later said she was fired), while guitarist James Iha was not involved when the group reunited in 2000 with a new line-up. He has, however, made a handful of appearances on stage with Smashing Pumpkins again since 2016.

Speaking to Chicago’s 97.9 The Loop earlier this year, Corgan said “things look good” for playing with Iha again. “We’re talking about it. We’ll see,” added the frontman.

As for the rest of the classic line-up, Corgan isn’t ruling it out. “There’s a willingness for us to play, but also the world’s changed a lot since we didn’t play,” he said. “So the reunion thing is always a bit weird because people come in with their expectations.

“So my whole thing is if we’re gonna do it, I think we do it to make people happy and not go against the tide of what people would want to hear in that type of stuff, but my interest in it is sort of limited. I’m not gonna do it for like 14 years of my life.”

Arcade Fire unveil full tracklist for new album ‘Everything Now’

Kanye West reportedly ready to return to touring in 2018 with new stage set-up

Kanye West is reportedly ready to return to touring in 2018.

The rapper was hospitalised last year, where he was taken to UCLA Medical Centre – when it was reported that he was suffering form ‘severe sleep deprivation’ and refused to go to hospital voluntarily, but had to be restrained for transport. Doctors diagnosed him with “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration.”

He had previously cancelled the remainder of his ‘Saint Pablo’ tour, after a concert in Sacramento where he controversially cut his set short after just 30 minutes following a lengthy tirade against Beyonce, claiming that her husband and West’s former friend and collaborator Jay Z had the means to have him killed.

Now TMZ is reporting that Live Nation, the promoters behind the Saint Pablo tour, have been in talks with West’s team and are “ready to jump as soon as he gives the green light”.

The site cites sources saying West is physically and mentally healthy again, and is focused, engaged and has overcome the issues that led to his hospitalisation.

Should West resume touring next year, the floating stage that was a central part of his 2016 tour will either be improved or replaced, while the show’s set list is also said to be improved.

Meanwhile, Paul McCartney has spoken about the “intriguing process” of making music with the rapper.

The Beatles legend collaborated with the rap icon on West’s singles ‘Only One’, ‘All Day’ and ‘FourFiveSeconds’, which also featured Rihanna.

Recalling how their collaboration came about, McCartney told Tim Minchin in a Facebook live chat: “I got a phone call and my manager said, ‘Kanye West would like to work with you.’ And I go, ‘Yeah, we’ll do it.’ I was a little bit nervous at first, because I thought it could go horribly wrong. But I was intrigued to see what he was up to and how he did it.”

“And it was a very intriguing process,” McCartney continued. “You basically don’t write songs. You basically just talk and noodle a bit and you record it all on your phone. And then he goes away. And that’s basically his record. But it was great doing it because I don’t work like that.”

McCartney also compared elements of West’s process to The Beatles’ experimental methods when making ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ – their classic album which recently turned 50 years old.

Katy Perry Rates Her Lovers from Worst to Best (and You Won't Believe Who's in Last Place!)

The 32-year-old sat down with James Corden on Sunday during her weekend-long livestream (in partnership with YouTube) on her personal YouTube channel, and opened up about how her past loves have fared in the bedroom.

Perry and the Late Late Show host played a revealing game in which they had to answer a random question or eat (or drink) a not-so-tasty snack. (Some options? Beef tongue and bird saliva, to name a few.)

Perry was so grossed out by the options that she bravely answered a request to rank three of her famous past loves — although she did throw a small fit when she realized she would have to answer.

The “Roar” singer listed Diplo, 38, first, meaning that she had deemed him her worst sex partner (the two briefly dated in 2014). Next up, Perry listed her latest love Orlando Bloom.

Katy Perry Says She Forgives Taylor Swift and Wants ‘the Best for Her’ After Years-Long Feud

Bloom, 40, and Perry announced the end of their year-long relationship in February.

Snagging the top spot in Perry’s list was John Mayer, whom the singer dated twice before they finally called it quits in 2015.

(To be fair to all the men involved, Perry did say that they were “all amazing lovers” but she had to rank them!)

Although Mayer, 39, may have come out the victor in Perry’s list of lovers, there’s one man the star had high hopes for: Josh Groban.

FROM COINAGE: 7 Most Expensive Music Videos

Perry called the 36-year-old, with whom she was linked to in 2009, the one that got away.

The “Waking Up in Vegas” singer has been giving fans a close look at her life in the live stream as part of the release of her brand new “purposeful pop” album, Witness.

Perry has been showing everything she’s doing in the Los Angeles residence where she’s set up camp — from meditation and yoga classes to dance parties and evening sleeps.

Later on during Sunday’s livestream, Perry also revealed during a glam session with YouTube star Patrick Starrr that her former lovers could attest to her skills in one special area — making sandwiches.

Michael Jackson’s chimp companion Bubbles is selling his own paintings

Michael Jackson‘s famous chimp friend Bubbles has taken to painting to pass the time, with a bunch of his works up for sale.

The primate pal’s works are set to be sold at an upcoming charity show in Miami called Apes That Paint. He’ll be joined by over 60 other apes that were raised in the entertainment industry, before being abandoned. Proceeds from the show will go to benefit The Center for Great Apes in Wachula, Florida, where Bubbles has lived since 2005.  As the Miami New Times reports, the 4.5-foot-tall, 185-pound, 34-year-old chimpanzee is now the Center’s alpha male, and marks his territory by scraping lines in the sand with a big blue bucket.

Amongst the other apes whose works will be exhibited at the show are chimps from Planet Of The Apes, as well as a number of film, TV and circus animals.

As The Mirror also reports, $30 million is needed to provide the Center’s 61 residents with full care until the end of their lives, and Michael Jackson’s living relatives have reportedly not contributed to Bubbles’ care since the singer’s death in 2009.

Apes That Paint opens July 21 at Frames USA in Miami.

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris recently came under fire for commenting that she ‘considers herself black’.

Paris Jackson, 18, is the late star’s only daughter with second wife Debbie Rowe. Paris was 11 years old when Jackson died in 2009.

Speaking to Rolling Stone in her first-ever in-depth interview, Paris opened up about race, among other topics, saying: “I consider myself black,” before adding that her father “would look me in the eyes and he’d point his finger at me and he’d be like, ‘You’re black. Be proud of your roots.’ And I’d be like, ‘OK, he’s my dad, why would he lie to me?’ So I just believe what he told me. ‘Cause, to my knowledge, he’s never lied to me.”

Pharrell confirms he’s working on new albums from two huge pop stars

Beyoncé and JAY-Z Have a $100 Million Budget, but Still Can’t Find a House They Like

New parents of three, JAY-Z and Beyoncé have yet to find a home in Los Angeles that suits their needs and their $100 million budget, a real estate source confirms to PEOPLE. “They want to find the perfect house to buy for their family, but they haven’t found it yet,” the source says.

With a massive budget, and in a city of mega-mansions, the real estate options are seemingly endless. But when you’re a family of global superstars, even a 9-figure price tag can be limiting. “They are absolutely on a budget. It’s an insane budget, but they are sticking to it. They don’t want to pay above $100 million,” the source says.

And when your must-haves list includes all the amenities, privacy and security money can buy, houses that fit the bill are few and far between. “They have toured every luxurious mansion on and off the market and will continue to tour,” says the source. In March, they reportedly toured the Aaron Spelling mansion. The 57,000-square-foot, French chateau-style home currently belongs to British Formula 1 heiress Petra Ecclestone and her husband, billionaire businessman James Stunt, who purchased it for $85 million in the summer of 2011, according to W Magazine.

The peripatetic family has been renting a string of luxury properties while house hunting since they made the move west from New York City in 2015 (“They are not moving from rental to rental, because they enjoy it,” the source notes), but with the arrival of their twins two weeks ago and daughter Blue Ivy, 5, starting school this fall, the pressure is on more than ever to settle in. The source confirms the family’s search is focused on the celeb-favorite areas of Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Holmby Hills.

Currently, the Carters are making their newest members feel at home in a stunning Malibu rental house. A real estate source confirms to PEOPLE that the couple have rented the 10-bed, 14-bath villa — which rents for $400,000 a month, fully furnished — earlier this month. The couple plan to stay at the estate through the summer while they search for a more permanent residence in Los Angeles.
