Breaking Bad creator 'desperately' wants Walt and Jesse in Better Call Saul

To read more on the Breaking Bad reunion, pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly on stands Friday, or buy it here now. Don’t forget to subscribe for more exclusive interviews and photos, only in EW.

AMC’s Breaking Bad prequel spin-off focusing on how slippery Jimmy McGill became corrupt Saul Goodman— has firmly established an identity apart from the mother meth ship over the last three seasons, but it hasn’t cut all family ties. Far from it, actually. Bad characters have joined the cast full-time (Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus), appeared in significant story lines (Mark Margolis’ Hector), helped to set up plot to come in Breaking Bad (Laura Fraser’s Lydia) or simply made for entertaining cameos (Kyle Bornheimer’s Ken). And creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have indicated that more Bad characters will be getting the Call in the future.

But it’s hard to argue that the two most anticipated guests wouldn’t be the meth-making duo of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). Both actors have said in the past that that they are open to reprising their roles on Saul. (Being that he is presumably alive, Jesse seems to have one more point of entry than Walt, as he also could cross paths with Jimmy’s other alter ego, Gene, in the events taking place after the Breaking Bad finale.) As the show inches closer to the Bad timeline, are these two more inclined to head back to Albuquerque and film a few new scenes for old times’ sake?

EW posed this question to Cranston and Paul — as well as Gilligan, who created Breaking Badwhen the cast reunited to celebrate the 10th anniversary for this week’s cover story. “My attitude towards it is the same I had from when Better Call Saul first started,” Paul says. “If Vince decided to put Jesse in Better Call Saul, it’s going to be for a reason, and that reason’s going to be very satisfying for me. I trust in Vince. I don’t think he would just do that to satisfy the fans. It would have a purpose, and whether or not he decides to find that purpose or searches for the purpose, I don’t know. But if he does find that purpose, I’m happy to jump on board.”

Cranston seems to be on that same page of possibility. “If he asked, I would just say yes,” says the actor, who notes that he has a “couple of ideas” that he will pitch to Gilligan and Saul co-creator Peter Gould. “[Vince] takes such meticulous care of his characters and the story, and he changed our lives. ‘Yes’ is the answer. Even if it’s just a brush-by. A quick little something. We’ve come to know people who we’ve seen before but we don’t know that we’ve seen them before, because we were in the store and we just passed by them. Or we might even have a word or two. ‘Oh no, please go ahead.’ ‘Thank you for holding the door.’ And then five years later, you would never remember that. So something as minuscule as that could be very interesting in the fabric of the whole thing.” He adds: “We have those kind of encounters every day, and I think that would be fun for the audience — and the most honest.”

Have you visited the set yet?” Cranston asks Paul.

“No,” answers Paul. “I absolutely do plan [to].”

“Everyone went nuts” when Cranston showed up on set, says Gilligan, adding, “You could hear the buzz go through the building.” And the show’s co-creator aims to convert Cranston’s next set visit — and Paul’s first visit — into an on-camera appearance. “I desperately want to see both of them on Better Call Saul,” he tells EW. “Peter wants it, the writers do, the actors do.”

Gilligan believes that enough time has passed — and so much anticipation has built — that a brush-by may not quite do the trick. (And if the writers decide to experiment even more with time jumps and take us inside the Breaking Bad-era timeline, more organic possibilities open up.) “[I]t wouldn’t feel as satisfying if it was just a cameo or an Alfred Hitchcock walkthrough,” he says. “I think we’ve waited long enough. We damn well better have a good reason for them to show up. I just hope we figure it out because I’ve got to hear, ‘Yeah, bitch!’ one more time.”

Better Call Saul returns to AMC for season 4 on Aug. 6. Production on season 4 recently wrapped, so it may be a while before you see Walt and/or Jesse in a Better place, but in the meantime, feel free to do some Blue Sky dreaming.

How did Cranston & Co. feel about reuniting for EW’s cover story? Find out here.

Drake Confirms He Has a Son on New Album Scorpion: 'The Kid Is Mine'

The 31-year-old rapper confirmed the long-rumored news that he fathered a child with French former adult-film star Sophie Brussaux on his new double album Scorpion, which was released just before midnight Thursday on Apple Music.

In his track “Emotionless”, the Candian declares “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid.”

“Breakin’ news in my life I don’t run to the blogs/ The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call,” he adds.

Drake then seemingly addresses his relationship with his son’s mother by referencing Michael Jackson’s hit “Billie Jean” in the song “March 14”.

“She’s not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine/ Sandi used to tell me all it takes it one time, and all it took was one time/ S—, we only met two times, two times,” he raps, referring to his mom Sandi Graham.

“I used to challenge my parents on every album/ Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent/ Always promised the family unit/ I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it.”

On the track, Drake confirms his son was born October 11 and says he celebrated in Miami when the DNA test confirmed he was the little boy’s father.

However, Drake also reveals while he rushed out and bought a crib for his son, he has only met the boy once at Christmas time.

Pusha T and Drake

Rumors regarding Drake’s son re-emerged last month when Pusha T released a diss track called “The Story of Adidon,” in which he alleged Drake had a secret love child he was keeping under wraps and refused to acknowledge.

“You are hiding a child, let that boy come home,” Pusha raps on the track, claiming Drake is playing “border patrol.”

While calling in to discuss the track on The Breakfast Club, Pusha went on to explain the connection he made in his song between Drake’s son and an “Adidas press run.”

“Allegedly his new line on Adidas is called Adidon, which is named after Adonis, his son,” Pusha T said. He went on to claim that Drake only planned to confirm the existence of his child once he “started selling sweatsuits and sneakers.”

“Who rolls out their child with a sweatsuit? Get outta here. What are you doing?” he added.

Drake

Days after the diss track came out, it was reported that Drake has been “financially supporting” Brussaux since shortly before she gave birth.

Sources told TMZ that the Canadian star is making sure Brussaux “lives comfortably” by quietly giving her money. The payments reportedly started late during her alleged pregnancy.

A representative for Drake offered no comment in response to the report when contacted by PEOPLE.

RELATED: Drake Rep Slams Former Porn Star’s Paternity Accusation: ‘She’s Just Another Woman Claiming He Got Them Pregnant’

Rumors began circulating about Drake’s paternity back in May 2017, when Brussaux — who was spotted with the rapper that January following his split from Jennifer Lopez — claimed she was three-and-a-half months pregnant with Drake’s child and hired two major New York City attorneys to begin the proceedings to prove paternity and seek child support, TMZ reported. She also told TMZ that she had text messages from the rapper asking her to get an abortion.

“If it’s, in fact, Drake’s child, which he does not believe it is, he will do right by the child,” Drake’s rep told PEOPLE at the time. “She’s just another woman in a long line of women claiming he got them pregnant.”

Drake also acknowledged what Pusha T and others have said about him both in the double album and in the “Editor’s Note” on Apple Music.

Poking fun at himself, the rapper wrote: “HATE WHEN DRAKE RAPS, DRAKE SINGS TOO MUCH, DRAKE IS A POP ARTIST, DRAKE DOESN’T EVEN WRITE HIS OWN SONGS, DRAKE TOOK AN L, DRAKE DIDN’T START FROM THE BOTTOM, DRAKE IS FINISHED, I LIKE DRAKE’S OLDER STUFF, DRAKE MAKES MUSIC FOR GIRLS, DRAKE THINKS HE’S JAMAICAN, DRAKE IS AN ACTOR, DRAKE CHANGED. ANYBODY ELSE > DRAKE …YEAH YEAH WE KNOW.”

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes Step Out Separately After Denying Rumors About Their Relationship

Following a report – blasted as “100 percent untrue” by Holmes’ publicist — that the couple had been planning a wedding and called it off because they split due to “trust issues,” the “Blame It” singer and the Dawson’s Creek star proved they were unfazed by the rumors.

Holmes, 39, was seen heading to the subway in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood on Thursday while wearing a red floral dress and thick black sunglasses.

Meanwhile Foxx, 50, celebrated the opening of Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City that night with a surprise performance that included covers of hits from Prince and Michael Jackson.

Foxx in Atlantic City on June 28. Holmes in New York City on June 28.

Though the duo, first seen dancing together in the Hamptons in 2013, have never confirmed their relationship, they’ve been stepping out more often since being caught by photographers holding hands on a Malibu beach in September.

They sat together at Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Awards Gala in January, played basketball together on Valentine’s Day and were seen leaving Nobu restaurant in New York City on April 22, followed by Carbone on May 1.

The private pair isn’t ready to discuss their relationship publicly, though. When Foxx was asked during the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in February about shooting hoops with the mom of 12-year-old Suri days earlier, he immediately took off his microphone and walked off of the live interview.

“They are happy, they just don’t flaunt anything,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “Jamie will always go out of his way to stay discreet. That is his way, and it works for him. If they could stay secret forever, Jamie would be happy.”

Homecoming: Your first look at Julia Roberts in her new Amazon series

A version of this story appears in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands today, or buy it here now. Don’t forget to subscribe for more exclusive interviews and photos, only in EW.

says Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail, who executive produces and directs all of Homecoming’s first 10 episodes. “I’m talking about the Hitchcock thrillers where it was just about people and not about CGI. It wasn’t about spectacle, but about flawed people doing flawed things and going down a road you didn’t think you were gonna go down, and being surprised at every turn. That is what we hope this show does.”

The podcast, a radio play created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg that featured the voices of Catherine Keener and Oscar Isaac, debuted in November 2016 to critical acclaim and obsessed fans, including Roberts. After UCP optioned the rights, Roberts picked it to be her TV-series debut. “Julia sorta raised her hand,” remembers Esmail. “We set a meeting, we talked, I fanboyed a little bit because I’m a huge Julia Roberts fan, and she came on board.”

Homecoming features a starry cast, including Bobby Cannavale as Heidi’s boss, Colin, and Oscar winner Sissy Spacek as her mother; at its core, though, the series is about the relationship between Heidi and Walter and their therapy scenes.

Esmail was adamant about keeping the therapy scenes simple, but also maintaining the half-hour running time of each episode. Explains Esmail, “I didn’t want to compromise those scenes and add ‘pyrotechnics’ to expand into a one-hour show.” Yet there will be some major twists in store for fans of the source material, including some new characters and a new ending for season 1. (Homecoming was given a two-season order by Amazon.)

“You don’t want to mess up something you made that was working, but, at the same time, you don’t want it to be a bland repetition of the same thing,” explains Bloomberg. Adds Horowitz: “The hope is that even for someone who totally knows the podcast, you’re never going to be sure which things you’re getting or which things are changing.” Sounds a lot like Heidi’s journey.

Glow Fades But Stays Fun in Its Second Season

With cable and streaming platforms airing prestige dramas long after the networks end their seasons, the warmer months have ceased to be reliable oases of light entertainment. That shift may explain why the women’s wrestling comedy Glow felt so refreshing when it debuted on Netflix last June. Set in ’80s-era Los Angeles and loosely based on the real Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, which found syndicated stardom during that decade, the show offered an underdog story, a feminist message and an ensemble as lively and diverse as the one executive producer Jenji Kohan assembled for her hit Orange Is the New Black. This recipe yielded an ideal summer sitcom, one fueled by lovable characters, neon costumes and campy staged matches in a bright-pink ring.

Happily, the show’s cast is still irresistible in its uneven second season, which arrives on Netflix on June 29 and opens as the wrestlers and their crew prepare to go into production. No longer a broke, self-destructive wreck, actor Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie) is happily ensconced in her role as Soviet heel Zoya the Destroyer. Now it’s her best friend turned rival Debbie Eagan (Betty Gilpin) who’s in crisis, navigating a rough divorce. Overwhelmed by the pressure of helming a TV series while playing dad to a teenager (Britt Baron) he’s just met, director Sam Sylvia (Marc Maron, whose gruff yet sensitive performance remains a highlight) picks up his old drug habit.

As fun as the cast is, the secondary characters’ story lines are drawn sketchily. In one moving episode, Tammé Dawson (Kia Stevens) tells her son she’s putting him through Stanford by wrestling as an offensive “welfare queen” caricature, but she mostly disappears for the remaining half of the season. Arthie (Sunita Mani), a shy South Asian student cast as an Arab terrorist, is desperate to shed the character that got her pelted with trash during Glow’s debut match. Instead of deepening this potentially rich conflict, though, the show twists Arthie’s story in a different direction. And there’s not much more to a new wrestler, Shakira Barrera’s Yo-Yo, than her identity as a Mexican-American lesbian stripper.

Kohan famously used Orange’s white, middle-class lead as a Trojan horse, moving past her story to spotlight the lives of poor, nonwhite, LGBT and mentally ill women who are rarely depicted onscreen. Glow was heading in a similar direction by interrogating the way the entertainment industry sexualizes women and typecasts people of color. But with the exception of Tammé’s brief story line, these new episodes mostly find relevance through Ruth’s boilerplate #MeToo plot.

Glow’s first season took the wrestlers from auditions to opening night, giving the show built-in momentum. Without that unifying arc, these new episodes aren’t as addictive. Next season, maybe the writers won’t leave so many wrestlers on the sidelines.

Johnson starred in the reboot alongside Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. The sequel earned an impressive $959 million worldwide.

But Hart recently told PEOPLE that he if he could change one thing about the movie, it would be the filming location — because of Johnson’s constant pranks.

“He was pretty out of control when we were in Hawaii shooting because he knows I don’t like insects. He would plant fake spiders and snakes around me to scare me. I didn’t like that at all,” he said. “Hopefully we green screen all of [the third movie].”

But regardless of any onset jokes, the comedian said he was excited about the opportunity to work alongside his close friend once again.

“We do great work together. That chemistry isn’t forced, it’s real,” he said. “When you have an opportunity to continue and keep it going you step up to the plate.”

Dave Grohl says working with Josh Homme is like “two old friends that have had too much to drink”

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has discussed what it’s like working with Josh Homme, comparing their collaborative process to a conversation between two drunk friends.

The Foos recently played two massive shows at the London Stadium – hailed by NME as their greatest shows in the capital. “As they made their debut at the former Olympic Stadium on Friday night, it seemed like the two-night residency might just prove to be the jewel in the crown of Foo Fighters’ very special relationship with the UK”, our official verdict read.

It’s B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Gwen Stefani Kicks Off Vegas Residency Show with Blake Shelton on Hand

On Wednesday night, Stefani kicked off her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater. The show, titled Gwen Stefani — Just a Girl, is good. In fact, it’s hella good.

“This is a crazy night, okay, because this is the first night. I’ll remember this for the rest of my life, so you guys have a huge responsibility,” she told the sold out crowd early into the show. “This is going to be an epic night tonight.”

Over the course of 100 minutes, Stefani sang her biggest hits, touching on songs from her solo career and her career with No Doubt. When Stefani announced the show in April she promised that the residency show would be b-a-n-a-n-a-s, and it was… literally. The first song of the show — “Hollaback Girl” — featured her dancers carrying oversized bananas.

Gwen Stefani performs the debut date of her Las Vegas residency on June 27, 2018. Gwen Stefani performs the debut date of her Las Vegas residency on June 27, 2018.

During other songs, such as “Simple Kind Of Life,” Stefani wore a makeshift wedding dress, and she harkened back to her ska roots with “Sunday Morning,” donning a midriff-bearing shirt and plaid pants.

Stefani wasn’t afraid to incorporate her love life into the show either. In fact, she seemed to pay homage to boyfriend Blake Shelton as she dressed in a cowgirl outfit for “Make Me Like You,” a song rumored to be about her beau.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton on June 27, 2018, in Las Vegas.

Shelton, as expected, was in attendance, even getting a standing ovation when he walked into the theater.

“I see a lot of admiring eyes on my sparkles. I know, it’s ridiculous,” Stefani said. “You don’t know what it’s like to wear a cowgirl costume right in front of Blake Shelton. It’s like my fantasy come true.”

After all the costume changes and the hits, the show at its core was, pardon the pun, a sweet escape. But, not only did Stefani give fans a musical trip down memory lane, but she gave her fans a deep dive into her personal life.

Gwen Stefani performs the debut date of her Las Vegas residency on June 27, 2018.

During an interlude, Stefani spoke of her younger self, saying she envisioned herself with several kids and a “perfect family.”

“That’s something I dreamed of for a long time,” she said in a video during the show. “But, my own love life experience wasn’t what I thought it would be, and I feel like I had so much love to give inside me, but I was unlucky in love, which has been a blessing because I’ve been able to write about that and share that and have this incredibly blessed musical career.”

She continued, “There was a point in my life where I felt that I was losing everything … When I look back at all the times my heart was broken, it was always music that healed me.”

Before the show even started, Stefani got a loving confidence boost from her man, as he tweeted his well wishes and sent a bouquet of flowers to her dressing room.

“You’ve worked so hard on this show. Congrats on opening night!!!,” read his note on the bouquet. “I love you. Blake.”

Blake Shelton's note to Gwen Stefani.

Love life aside, the show — the first of 25 — was all about the music and the experience, and Stefani left no doubt that she’s ready to headline a Vegas residency.

Gwen Stefani — Just a Girl will run through mid-March 2019 at the Zappos Theater.

Watch the Broadway Anastasia and Dmitry perform 'At the Beginning' from the 1997 film

Those stirring words will be familiar to any fan of the 1997 animated film Anastasia. They begin the post-movie credits song “At the Beginning,” as popularized by Richard Marx and Donna Lewis when first released (a performance that went on to top the radio charts).

Anastasia has found new life on Broadway over the last few years, but “At the Beginning” isn’t part of the expanded score, except for some recognizable musical cues within transitions that will catch the ear of the most avid fans. Now, however, Broadway’s Anastasia and Dmitry — Christy Altomare and Zach Adkins — have recorded a special version of the song for fans, which EW can exclusively debut.

Songwriters Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens previously told EW about the genesis of “At the Beginning” and why it didn’t end up in the stage version of the story. “We just knew we had to have a song to write over credits,” Ahrens said of the original task. “Write a number-one hit song. We were determined they weren’t going to give it to some other songwriters.”

As for why “At the Beginning” didn’t make it into the stage musical, Ahrens said it was because the song is “inherently not dramatic.”

Flaherty added, “We wanted to be more historically correct, and we were going more for placing it at a certain time in Russia. The further we got, we thought, ‘We love this song,’ so what I did is I took the theme of ‘At the Beginning’ and used it in a transitional moment.”

Now fans of both the original animated film and the Broadway musical can enjoy a new take on “At the Beginning” from its theatrical stars.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt Look Suave in First Look at Quentin Tarantino's Sharon Tate Movie

The actors are starring in Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, Tarantino’s ninth film about actress Sharon Tate‘s murder at the hands of Charles Manson’s followers.

In a previous release, Tarantino called the film a “story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor … Sharon Tate.”

Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio

This is the second time Pitt and DiCaprio have worked with Tarantino, with the former starring in 2009’s Inglorious Bastards as the Nazi-killing American Lt. Aldo Raine, and the latter starring as the villainous, slave-owning Calvin Candie in 2012’s Django Unchained. Both films gorily reimagined history, as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will likely do.

While the film revolves around Tate’s murder, which took place on Aug. 9, 1969, when the actress was more than eight months pregnant with her child with director Roman Polanski, the story is reportedly not a full chronicle of the Manson family murder spree. (Manson died in prison last year at the age of 83).

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is expected to hit theaters Aug. 9, 2019, which marks the 50th anniversary of Tate’s death.

The first scene in the trailer features the two having a raw fight about Chalamet’s addiction before it launches into flashbacks and present time scenes about the relationship between the two.

“There are moments that I look at him, this kid that I raised who I thought I knew inside and out, and I don’t know who he is,” Carell says in the emotional trailer.

This is Chalamet’s second major movie after his star-making turn in Call Me By Your Name and it continues Carell’s streak of taking on more serious movies after his Oscar nominated role in 2015’s Foxcatcher.

“I felt better than I ever had so I just kept on doing it. I don’t like I have a disease. This isn’t like cancer, this is my choice. I put myself here,” an emotional Chalamet says as he talks to Carell.

Beautiful Boy hits theaters Oct. 12 just in time for awards season.

What You Need to Know About World Cup Player Jimmy Durmaz

Unfortunately for Sweden, the tight game came down to a winning free kick for Germany precipitated by a mistake made by Swedish player Jimmy Durmaz late in the game. This is soccer: it’s a beautiful game, yet mistakes happen all the time. But Durmaz has since become the target of racially-charged invective on his Instagram, suffering online abuse that questions his nationality.

In a statement video released Sunday, Durmaz addressed the backlash, backed by the support of his teammates.

“I am a footballer at the highest level; being criticized is something we live with,” Durmaz says according to ESPN’s translation from the Swedish. “But being called ‘f—ing immigrant’ and ‘suicide bomber,’ and having death threats made against me and my children is completely unacceptable,” he went on. “I am Swedish, and with pride I wear our shirt and our flag. I want to thank the fine, wonderful people who spread joy. It warms us all. We stand united. We are Sweden.” His team also rallied behind him, as did the Swedish Football Association, which reported the abuse to police on Durmaz’s behalf, according to the Guardian.

A post shared by Novalii??gabriel??gabriella (@jimmydurmaz) on Jun 24, 2018 at 10:30am PDT

In the caption for the post, he added in English, “I’m humbled and overwhelmed from all the lovely messages I’ve received from all of you. It really warms my heart after what happened last night. Keep posting love so it will overcome all the hate out there.”

Where is Jimmy Durmaz From?

Durmaz is Swedish. His Assyrian parents made their way north to Sweden from Turkey, according to the Associated Press.

Where does Durmaz play?

Currently, Durmaz plays for the French football club Toulouse as a midfielder; he was signed in 2016. During the 2018 World Cup in Russia, he has been rotated in as a substitute for the Swedish national squad. He’s been playing professional soccer since his teens, starting out with Swedish clubs before playing for Turkish, Greek and now his French team. This is his first World Cup.

When will Durmaz play next?

Despite their loss, Sweden is still in the mix for the 2018 World Cup. They’re facing off against Mexico Wednesday in their final Group F match. While Durmaz is not on the starting lineup, he may play as a substitute. Both teams are hoping for a win to secure their advancement chances, although draws could also work in their favor.

And Grande confirmed an old song called “Better Off” — which was scrapped from a previous project — will appear on the album. The track is just now being released “bc at first i was nervous about like……. it coming true. if that makes sense,” she tweeted. “more honest than i was ready to be w myself at the time (its v old). but it’s beautiful and has always been one of my favs and i’m very happy she’s on there. excited to share it w you.”

Serena Williams on Getting Pregnant Again: 'I Don't Know If I Want to Play If I Have Another Baby'

The tennis champion, who welcomed daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. last September, famously won her 23rd Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open in January 2017 while eight weeks pregnant, a feat she admitted was the most badass thing she’s ever done.

“Oh absolutely! I was two months pregnant. I was literally nine weeks by the end of the tournament. Every day that passed I thought, ‘This is a dream,'” Williams, 35, tells InStyle for her cover story in the magazine’s first-ever “Badass Women” issue.

“I had a really tough first round and an even tougher second round. I thought, ‘I’m probably going to lose early. That’s OK. I have a good excuse for the first time,'” she adds.

It’s our first-ever Badass Women™ Issue, and the badass of ALL badasses covers it: Serena Williams. She’s a champion, mother, wife, businesswoman, and one of the greatest tennis players of all time — but she’s also just Serena. “Someone who’s a badass is incredibly confident and unapologetically herself. And she doesn’t care what anyone else says — but in a positive, not a negative, way. It’s more like standing up for yourself and others.” Click the link in bio for @SerenaWilliams’s full interview with @LauraBrown99. #BadassWomenIssue #InStyleBadassWomen I Photographed by @RobbieFimmano

And now that she’s back on the court — Williams returned for her first match (and won!) six months after giving birth to Alexis at the Indian Wells BNP Paribas Open — the star does admit she needs to find quite the balance between motherhood and tennis.

“I’m in the locker room pumping before a match because my boobs are so big. When I pump, they go down a size or two and I go out and play,” Williams tells the magazine.

But ultimately, now that she is a mom, Williams always makes sure her daughter comes first. “I sneak away to practice, usually around 8 a.m. The only rule I have at practice is to be done at 1 p.m., because as much as I love tennis, I need to be with her. I want to put her above everything else I’m doing,” she says.“Since she was born, I haven’t been apart from her for more than a day.”

When it comes to the possibility of trying for a second baby with husband Alexis Ohanian, Williams thinks she may have to officially step away from tennis.

She says, “If I weren’t working, I’d already be pregnant…I don’t know if I want to play if I have another baby…”

When Perry took the stage at the SSE Hydro, she informed fans about her dining troubles before breaking out into song, The Scottish Sun reports. “I was on the Internet looking up the top 25 places for dinner,” Perry announced into the microphone. “Some are really fancy. Some only sit like 10 people. I called a couple of places and couldn’t get in anywhere.”

“On the list at the very end it said Taco Bell,” Perry added. “So I went there – and then I went to your movie theater.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Vacations with Valentino Garavani - Could They Be Wedding Dress Planning?

She kicked things off on Memorial Day with a vacation in Mexico with her soon-to-be-husband Brad Falchuk, and she just spent this weekend yachting with designer Valentino Garavani in Capri!

The actress shared snaps with the legendary designer and his business partner, Giancarlo Giammetti, on board a yacht, where she was seen lounging in an itty-bitty black bikini teamed with tousled beachy waves.

She also shared a photo of herself taking a twilight stroll arm-in-arm with the two legends.

While Paltrow and Valentino may have just bumped into each other in Italy, their meeting could also mean the actress is planning out her wedding dress with the designer.

Paltrow and Falchuk are set to tie the knot soon. They got engaged early this year and celebrated their engagement with a star-studded bash in April (with Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder, Demi Moore, Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg, Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson in attendance), followed shortly by Paltrow’s bachelorette party in Cabo, Mexico, where she was joined by Cameron Diaz, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe and more.

Since wedding bells are in her near, near future, she may have chatted with Valentino about her wedding gown details (and they may have even had a fitting between their Italian yacht lunches).

While we don’t know many details about her upcoming nuptials, in early May she told Good Morning America that her daughter Apple, 14, and son Moses, 12 (with ex-husband Chris Martin) are excited for her big day.

“They are excited,” she said during the interview. “It’s a very happy time, I have to say.”

Everything You Need to Know About the Real-Life Love Story of Kit Harington and Rose Leslie

Here’s everything we know about the real-life romance between the former co-stars.

Where it started

It’s unclear exactly when sparks started to fly between Harington and Leslie, but one thing we know for sure is where the two fell for each other — on the set of a little old show called Game of Thrones.

“I fell in love in Iceland,” Harington revealed during a 2016 appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, referring to the filming location of Jon Snow’s scenes beyond the Wall. “I fell in love with my co-star.”

On-screen sizzle

Leslie was cast as Ygritte — the fiery Widling fighter and love interest of Jon — in the HBO drama’s second season and made her debut in its fifth episode, “The Old Gods and the New.” She was featured as a recurring character until Ygritte was fatally shot in the back with an arrow by Olly — who later also delivered Jon’s (temporary) killing blow — during the season four Battle of Castle Black.

The couple carried out one of the series’ most memorable romances in the span of those two seasons, gifting fans with both that steamy cave scene and their oft-quoted catchphrase, “You know nothing, Jon Snow.”

“Ygritte is the only woman for Jon,” Harington (facetiously) told Us Weekly before the show’s season seven premiere. “Always. There will be no one else.”

Off-screen hints

Admittedly, their on-screen relationship was pretty much doomed from the start. But in real life, their connection seems to have only grown stronger over time. The pair was first rumored to be dating in 2012 when TMZ released photos of them holding hands at a restaurant.

Harington denied there was anything but friendship between them in several interviews over the next few years, but also openly admitted that he is private about his love life.

“On a serious level, I wouldn’t tell the press if I was in a relationship or not,” he told the London Evening Standard in 2014. “I wouldn’t ever reveal that, because it takes you down a certain road… I have no desire to be courting the press with my love life. It’s not my job, it’s not who I am — and I actually think it’s more fun for everyone to speculate. The minute I start telling people things are true or not true, then it’s just boring.”

Going public

After being spotted holding hands and kissing in January 2016, they made their public debut as a couple at that year’s Olivier awards. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love,” Harington told L’Uomo Vogue about a month later.

Life planning

The two took the next big step in their relationship this summer when they bought a home in the English countryside — a plan that Harington revealed was in the works during a May interview with Esquire.

At the time, he declined to offer further details about their history together. “It’s as much her relationship as it is mine and I can’t speak for both of us,” he said. “But yeah, we are very, very happy. So that’s what I’ll say about that.”

Catching feelings

On the red carpet of Thrones‘ season seven premiere in July, Harington was a bit more forthcoming about their love for one another. “I think that’s the really special thing about it is that we met on this show and here we are seven years down the line back here promoting season seven,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I mean it’s mad. It’s such a special thing. I’m so privileged.”

Engagement

The news that Harington and Leslie had gotten engaged broke on Tuesday, Sept. 26, when it was reportedly confirmed by an anonymous source. However, the couple waited an extra day to make the announcement official, putting out a notice in the Wednesday edition of The Times of London newspaper.

“The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire,” the announcement — under the names Mr. K.C. (Kit Catesby) Harington and Miss R.E. (Rose Eleanor) Leslie — read.

Harington and Leslie were married were at Scotland’s Kirkton of Rayne church on June 23 in front of their family, friends and, of course, castmates. The reception was held at nearby Wardhill Castle — a property that’s been in the Leslie family for generations.

Notable Thrones players in attendance included Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, who wore coordinating outfits. Co-stars Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke were also spotted in the area.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Stomps Its Way to $150 Million Debut

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” surpassed expectations to open with an estimated $150 million in ticket sales in U.S. and Canada theaters over the weekend. While that total didn’t approach the record-breaking debut of 2015’s “Jurassic” reboot, it proved the franchise still roars loudly among moviegoers.

It also gave Hollywood its first back-to-back $100 million-plus openings in a non-holiday period. After opening with $182.7 million last week, Pixar’s acclaimed sequel “The Incredibles 2” slid 56 percent in its second week, with an $80.9 million haul.

The female-fronted heist film “Ocean’s 8” also grossed $100 million domestically with $11.7 million in its third week.

Adele ‘to release new album in 2019’ as she begins writing next record

Adele has reportedly begun work on her next record, the first release since 2015’s ’25’.

The global megastar, 30, reportedly met with music bosses earlier this month and plans to spend this summer writing the record.

According to The Sun, she’s working towards a planned release date of Christmas 2019.

A source told the paper: “She’s back in the UK and intends to write here. A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she’s already penned some of the songs.”

The new update marks one of the first major developments for Adele since vocal chord damage forced her to cancel two Wembley Stadium shows in 2017.

She has also been a vocal supporter of the families affected by the Grenfell Tower blaze, after it broke out less than a mile from her Kensington home.

She was seen attending a memorial service to mark one year since the blaze, having previously attended the scene to comfort victims and their families with her husband Simon Konecki.

In the days following the blaze, she also visited a local fire station for ‘tea and cuddles’, and treated children from Grenfell to a private screening of Despicable Me 3 last August.

“They’re not receiving the things we think they are. It’s a fucking mess. No information is getting through, people feel helpless,” she said on-stage during a concert at Wembley Stadium. “No one knows what they’re doing down there, it’s chaos.”

The former Spice Girl, 44, was photographed with her 19-year-old son at the star-studded Dior Homme show, where she sat in the front row next to Kate Moss, Lenny Kravitz and Naomi Campbell.

Victoria — who is also mom to Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and daughter Harper, 6 — wore a pale blue top and pleated red slacks, while Brooklyn opted for a bee-adorned sweatshirt and black jeans.

On Tuesday, Victoria spoke openly about how she balances her personal and professional life.

“I try really, really hard. I try hardest to be the best mother,” she said at the Forbes Women’s Summit in New York City, Hello! reported. I am trying to be the best wife and the best professional.”

“When I get home I try to put the phone down and spend time with the children and spend time with David,” she added. “I have the support of an incredible husband. We really are equal with everything we do at home with the children. When I’m away he’s the one doing the school run and doing the cooking.”

Victoria and David Beckham

Her statement came as Victoria and David, 43, are once again battling rumors of trouble in their marriage.

“What nonsense. Journalist Chinese whispers and fake news fueled by social media,” her rep recently told PEOPLE. “There is no impending statement, no divorce!”

The couple — who recently attended the royal wedding together — are approaching their 19th wedding anniversary and share four children together including Brooklyn and Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13 and daughter Harper, 6.

“Over the years, Victoria has fought hard for her marriage, and for David,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “She never gave up when someone else might have.”

Muse’s sonic spectacular opens Lisbon’s Rock In Rio 2018

Muse opened Rock In Rio 2018 in Lisbon last night (June 23) with a scorching set stripped of their trademark production gimmickry but brimming with hi-octane rock spectacle.

Without even an intro tape, the three-piece took to a stage containing only a drumkit, keyboard and minimal strips of video screen, and delivered an almighty career-spanning set that effortlessly confirmed their status as the greatest live band in rock.

Opening with their most recent single ‘Thought Contagion’, Muse piled into an early slew of monster hits including ‘Psycho’ from their most recent ‘Drones’ album and fan classics ‘Hysteria’ and ‘Plug In Baby’, dropping in riffs from Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Know Your Enemy’ and AC/DC’s ‘Back In Black’ between songs as Matt Bellamy strutted along the ego ramp swinging his guitar like a battle axe.

The set dropped into minimalist electronica for the ‘Tubular Bells’-like ‘The 2nd Law: Isolated System’, led by drummer Dom Howard on electronic drums, and included a spot of android glam rock in the shape of recent single ‘Dig Down’. Then Muse ramped up a mid-set frenzy with ‘Resistance’, ‘Supermassive Black Hole’ and ‘Stockholm Syndrome’, with Matt in full freak-out mode, throwing in the five-note refrain from Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, playing his guitar’s in-built luminous Kaoss pad with his tongue and firing out solo torrents on his knees before kicking his guitar across the stage.

The final segment of the main set focussed on their poppier moments, with Matt wearing his famous video sunglasses displaying the lyrics during ‘Madness’ and running to a secondary platform by the sound desk as moon balloons were released during ‘Starlight’. Ribbon cannons and ticker tape explosions erupted during ‘Time Is Running Out’ and ‘Mercy’, but the tone turned darker for the encore. ‘Take A Bow’ proved admonishment of political despots, while Matt left the crowd to sing the first revolutionary chorus of ‘Uprising’. The show ended with a brilliantly savage ‘Knights Of Cydonia’, turning the crowd into a thrashing throng of neon wands.

Earlier on the first day of Rock In Rio – a festival which began life in Rio De Janeiro in 1985 but has since been held Lisbon, Madrid and Las Vegas – Portuguese Pop Idol winner Diogo Piçarra opened the main stage bill with a set of glossy R&B and bursts of intense rave pop, a stage full of flag-waving dancers and guest spots by local hero Marco Rodrigues and Brazilian folk pop duo Anavitoria.

Haim ended the world tour for last year’s second album ‘Something To Tell You’ on Rock In Rio’s main stage, with the trio taking the stage with an on-theme Brazilian drum rampage before launching into an hour of rousing country pop, Fleetwood Mac radio rock and glitchy R&B. Alana Haim roused the crowd with upbeat emotional speeches about sisterly love and “hard times” and perfectly honed tunes such as ‘Falling’, ‘Want You Back’ and ‘The Wire’. Bastille provided main support, performing a new song called ‘Quarter Past Midnight’ alongside ‘Pompeii’, ‘Things We Lost In The Fire’ and ‘Of The Night’ their mash-up of SNAP!’s ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’ and Corona’s ‘Rhythm Of The Night’. Dan Smith also described ‘The Currents’ as “a big ‘fuck you’ to people like Donald Trump”.

The two-weekend festival continues today (June 24) with a headline set by Bruno Mars and performances by Demi Lovato, Anitta and Agir. The festival then continues the following weekend, with headline sets from Katy Perry and The Killers.
