David Cronenberg says decision not to direct Return of the Jedi was met with 'stunned silence'
but it is hard to imagine the director of Videodrome and the remake of The Fly as a franchise filmmaker. Back in the early ’80s, however, the Canadian auteur was approached about overseeing a little film called Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Cronenberg’s response to this seemingly plum gig? Thanks, but no thanks.
“I still recall getting a phone call,” Cronenberg told EW earlier this week. “Somebody said that they were from, I guess it was Lucasfilm, and asked me if I was interested in — at that point it was called Revenge of the Jedi, actually, until somebody pointed out that it was against Jedi philosophy to think in terms of revenge. But, anyway, I was asked if I would be interested in considering that, and meeting with everybody, and I said, with the arrogance of youth — relative youth, anyway — I said, ‘Well, I’m not used to doing other people’s material.’ And there was like a stunned silence and then ‘Click’ — hang up. Basically, that was as close as I came to that.”
Return of the Jedi would eventually be directed by Richard Marquand. Cronenberg reveals that he has spent next to no time wondering what his version of the movie might have been like.
“No, not really, because, in a way that’s like doing one episode in a well-established TV series,” says the director. “The casting is fixed of the main characters — the look of it, the tone of it, people’s expectations for it, are all fixed. You are not involved in the creating of that. And therefore you’re a little bit more like a traffic cop than you are like, for me, what a creative director can be. So that’s why it wouldn’t have interested me, really. I mean, you have Alfonso Cuarón doing a Harry Potter episode, and he did his best to try to make it stand out from the others, but basically, it’s a Harry Potter episode. And if you didn’t know that Alfonso directed it, you wouldn’t be able to tell. So, these are not attractive options for me. I mean, there’s the lure of money, and having a big budget, and having excitement around the film you’re making — but on the deep creative level, it would for me be frustrating, I think. Just frustrating.”
So, the folks at Marvel Studios should save themselves the cost of a phone call to Canada?
“They have done that so far!”

Bradley Cooper responds to claims he could direct ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3’
Bradley Cooper has responded to claims he could direct Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 after the original director, James Gunn, was fired.
- Read more: Guardians Of The Galaxy 3: what we know so far about the next chapter in the Marvel series
Gunn was fired by Disney back in July following the re-emergence of a number of his old tweets, which made offensive jokes about pedophilia and rape. Disney’s decision to remove Gunn from his role as head of the franchise he created prompted a wide backlash, with the stars of the films signing an open letter in defence of Gunn a week after his termination.
Cooper, who voices Rocket Raccoon in the Marvel series, recently finished directing and starring in A Star is Born. When approached with the idea of replacing Gunn, Cooper responded: “In directing it?”
“I could never direct anything that I didn’t write,” he continued, in an interview with Joe. “No, I could never direct anything that I didn’t write.”
Last month, Disney appeared to be standing firm on decision to fire Gunn. The director and his UTA (United Talent Agency) representatives were successful in securing a meeting with Disney chief Alan Horn, but the latter only agreed to take the meeting with Gunn in order to “clear the air”.
Though the meeting was described by sources as “civil and professional”, Horn reportedly made it clear to Gunn that he and Disney would not be changing their position. Representatives for Disney and Marvel have declined to comment on the new report.
Chris Pratt, who plays the Star Lord in the films, previously tweeted that Gunn is “a good man” despite the “inappropriate jokes” that led to his sacking.
Pratt wrote: “Although I don’t support James Gunn’s inappropriate jokes from years ago, he is a good man. I’d personally love to see him reinstated as director of Volume 3.”
In the follow-on post, which revealed that some of the cast support Pratt’s call, Pratt praises Gunn for changing their “lives forever”, and urges readers to “stop weaponising mob mentality.”

Insecure costume designer Shiona Turini breaks down Issa and co.'s covetable fashion
And in the grand tradition of shows like Sex and the City, Girls, and Girlfriends, each of the main characters — Issa, Molly, Kelli, and Tiffany — has her own distinctive style. As each character continues to evolve, so too does her wardrobe, quietly making Insecure one of the most fashionable shows on television. To take a deeper look at the style of each character, EW spoke with Insecure costume designer Shiona Turini about what Issa and co. wear, and why.
Issa: Playfully eclectic and most importantly, evolving
“Issa is occupying a new mental space in an effort to grow up, glow up, and find out what is best for her,” Turini tells EW of Rae’s onscreen counterpart. “She’s evolving personally and professionally, and as we change, so does our style. She’s still eclectic and print-dependent, but she’s ready to explore an elevated version of that… always with a carefully curated selection of vintage, denim and conscious clothing. Her denim will typically be vintage, lived-in, and telling a story.”
Turini adds, “I want to imagine Issa thrifting in her spare time to find that perfect lighter-washed, worn-in pair of jeans — high-waisted, with a relaxed leg that’s stylish and, most importantly, comfortable. This season as Issa grows up, it was important to me that her sartorial choices did as well. It’s less about the actual designers and the brands, and more about the fits, the cuts, and the more grown-up prints and patterns we are exploring.”
Molly: Sophisticated and bright
“This season, Molly is visibly fighting for recognition,” Turini says of Yvonne Orji’s overachieving corporate lawyer. “As a black woman moving from a white-dominated workplace to a now black, male-dominated workplace, she’s hoping to stand out and prove herself. Visually, I’ve translated that using bold color, and often monochrome suiting. In her personal life, it was important to me that we elevate her style and include moments of brand recognition. Professional black women have immense buying power in the luxury market; it’s time we see that represented on television.”
Kelli: Cool, lively, and refined
Kelli (played byNatasha Rothwell) is “the rollicking character of the bunch,” Turini says. “Stylistically, she’s bright and experimental — much like her character. It’s refreshing to see a stylish woman with real curves on television not exclusively dressed in black, or dowdy dresses. In episode 5 [of season 3], Kelli wore a pair of Good American jeans — they were high-waisted with lots of stretch, without losing the feel, weight, and fabrication of true denim. In those jeans Kelli could run, kick, and withstand an attack with a stun gun, in jeans that were still flattering and looked fly!”
Tiffany: Ultra-feminine, with a little spice
“While all of the girls are going through a transition this season, Tiffany’s transition manifests physically,” Turini says of Amanda Seales’ high-maintenance mom-to-be. “Her version of maternity wear heavily injects the diva sensibility we know and love her for. She’s not sacrificing style.”
The season 3 finale of Insecure airs Sunday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m.

Watch BTS and Jimmy Fallon slay the Fortnite Dance Challenge
If you couldn’t tell by all the screaming fans drowning out the Tonight Show stage, the members of the K-pop group hit up Jimmy Fallon‘s late-night talk show on Tuesday. Yes, they gave the public what they wanted and performed “I’m Fine” and “Idol,” but they also danced all the wacky dance moves available to players in the Fortnite game.
Orange Justice, Best Mates, and Boneless are some of the more wild and popular moves you can do in Fortnite, but now you can see V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM, and J-Hope try them out in real life.
And, of course, there’s The Floss, the move made mainstream by Backpack Kid wildin’ out on Saturday Night Live. BTS lined up in a row with Fallon to create one massive Flossy posse.

The Voice recap: The shoes have officially come off, folks
— and that means things are starting to get competitive.
Let’s take a look at who lines up for a shot at the season 15 title tonight, shall we?
Keith Paluso (30 – Memphis, TN)
“Way Down We Go” by Kaleo
Now this is soulful! @KeithPaluso is OWNING IT with “Way Down We Go” by @officialkaleo. ???? #VoicePremiere pic.twitter.com/AvPvVP2q7S
— The Voice (@NBCTheVoice) September 26, 2018
This guy’s title selection couldn’t be more accurate because the whole song is spent seeing just how way down we can go with Keith Paluso’s grizzled bluesy growl voice. This park ranger and bird fanatic has all the ingredients for a solid member of Team Adam Levine — he’s attached to his ax, willing to reach for some gnarly notes, and has a general air of self-possession — but thanks to Blake Shelton’s timely block use, the outdoorsman gets snatched up by The Cowboy. The good news for Keith is that he seems to be able to navigate through multiple genres, from blues to country to rock and roll, so that should give him and his coach a lot to work with. A lack of versatility has been the downfall of some singers of his style in the past, so look for this guy to change it up quite often to keep it interesting while maintaining that strong lower register that Blake loves so well.
Team: Blake Shelton.
Claire DeJean (17 – Dallas, TX)
“Hurt Somebody” by Julia Michaels and Noah Kahan
.@clairedejean may be singing “Hurt Somebody” by @juliamichaels and @NoahKahan but this performance will have you feeling healed! ? #VoicePremiere pic.twitter.com/GnRBYckd9Z
— The Voice (@NBCTheVoice) September 26, 2018
Oh, hi Claire DeJean! This teen singer — who spends her downtime teaching dance and acting to children because of course she does — has one of those soft and twangy upper registers that’s so hard to resist, along with a full feathery voice that she glides in and out of with ease. It takes one tender finishing note to convince Kelly Clarkson to turn for her, but when she does, the girl is overjoyed to the point of tears (and it’s clear Blake Shelton doesn’t stand a chance even if he did turn first). Count on this gal to go the soft pop route in the very near future.
Team: Kelly Clarkson.
Franc West (38 – Atlanta, GA)
“(Sittin’ On) the Dock of the Bay” by Otis Redding
.@iamfrancwest brought that SOUL singing “(Sitting on) The Dock Of The Bay” by Otis Redding! #VoicePremiere pic.twitter.com/EH1ycBPKPi
— The Voice (@NBCTheVoice) September 26, 2018
The fact that Franc West only gets one chair-turn tonight says nothing about the immense impact of his voice. Thanks to his experience singing in the U.S. Navy, he has an exceptionally deep bass that has enough texture and resonance to be undeniable. If he could hone in on some of those higher notes and make his transitions between octaves a little cleaner, he might just be a contender. For now, though, his urgency and obvious instincts are strong enough to get him a coveted spot on Team JHud, and with her guidance, he can turn that raw talent into a true skillset (provided he picks a less generic song next time, of course).
Team: Jennifer Hudson.
Michael Lee (30 – Fort Worth, TX)
“The Thrill Is Gone” by BB King
.@MichaelLeeFW singing “The Thrill Is Gone” by B.B. King will have you SCREAMING. Trust. #VoicePremiere pic.twitter.com/hrUpRpPqbF
— The Voice (@NBCTheVoice) September 26, 2018
If Adam Levine was having a bad night before this, Michael Lee just kicked him in the shins and then slapped him with a six-string for good measure. He’s basically able to make his electric guitar a backup vocalist here, which means he’s speaking Adam’s language from the first lyric, and his bluesy rocker style is a no-brainer as well. Somehow, though, he decides to take his gravel tones over to Team Blake Shelton for now, despite Adam being the more obvious choice and the fact that Jennifer Hudson paid him the ultimate compliment by throwing the first shoe of the season in his direction. Considering how married the blues are to country music, Michael Lee should be fine on Team Blake all the same, though.
Team: Blake Shelton.
Ele Ivory (20 – Nashville, TN)
“Jump” by Julia Michaels
.@eleivorymusic is singing “Jump” by @juliamichaels and we are in our feelings! #VoicePremiere pic.twitter.com/ytZBf81QLm
— The Voice (@NBCTheVoice) September 26, 2018
This might be a first: Ele Ivory’s day trade is working in a cave, which means she’s probably got access to some killer acoustics when she’s practicing her vocals after shifts. And what a voice it is … or could be. Her mellow melody is lovely when she’s hitting the right notes, but there’s a pitchy quality that’s a little hard to overlook in spots. Her tendency to default to her mid-range, which is far less soothing than her head voice, makes this performance a bit too inconsistent for the coaches to tamp their buttons. The good news for her is that Adam Levine is so insistent that she work on things and come back again that she’ll get a chance at the Comeback.
Team: N/A.
DeAndre Nico (22 – Port Arthur, TX)
“When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars
.@deandreknico’s gorgeous take on “When I Was Your Man” by @BrunoMars is a whole mood. ???????????? #VoicePremiere pic.twitter.com/qsna69ks9n
— The Voice (@NBCTheVoice) September 26, 2018
Just like last night, our final auditioner of the evening has the distinction of earning a four-chair turn from the coaches. DeAndre Nico, who’s had a rough year courtesy of the havoc Hurricane Harvey wreaked on his family’s home, has a rich and supple mid-range and some impressive high notes to boot. There are moments when he seems behind the tempo a bit, but the emotion of his delivery is undeniable, and everyone’s vying for the chance to coach him to the next level. Somehow, Adam Levine is able to lure him because he turned first, which means he obviously cares the most, right? It might actually be an inspired choice on his part, though, because if anyone knows how to pick songs that can highlight his high notes, well, it’s the guy who does it every single day of his working life.
Team: Adam Levine.
TEAM STANDINGS:
Adam Levine – Tyke James, Radha, DeAndre Nico
Blake Shelton – Mercedes Ferreira-Dias, Kameron Marlowe, Keith Paluso, Michael Lee
Kelly Clarkson – Sarah Grace, Mikele Buck, Claire DeJean
Jennifer Hudson – Tyshawn Colquitt, Patrique Fortson, Kennedy Holmes, Franc West

Idina Menzel, Zachary Levi, and more Disney stars invade Kingdom Hearts III cast
for the new game, but Square Enix has another treat to offer patient players. A treasure trove of Disney movie stars are lending their voices to the game characters of Kingdom Hearts III.
Frozen‘s Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Josh Gad (Olaf), and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff); Tangled‘s Zachary Levi (Flynn) and Donna Murphy (Mother Gethel); Toy Story‘s John Ratzenberger (Hamm) and Wallace Shawn (Rex); Hercules’ Tate Donovan (Hercules); and Pirates of the Caribbean‘s Kevin R. McNally (Gibbs) can all be heard in the gameplay when the title finally drops on Jan. 29, 2019.
As an added touch of Disney magic, Tony Anselmo will reprise the voice of Donald Duck, Bill Farmer will reprise Goofy, and Haley Joel Osment will again voice Sora, the franchise’s protagonist on a mission with Donald and Goofy to protect the Disney worlds from darkness.
To give non-gamers some context, Kingdom Hearts II hit store shelves in December 2005. By the time the third chapter of the Disney-Final Fantasy crossover releases, it will be 13 years in between installments. Imagine waiting that long for the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War.
It was just before E3 when game director Tetsuya Nomura announced the new release date, and we’ve since seen glimpses of worlds based on Frozen, Tangled, Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Kingdom Hearts III will be available on Playstation and Xbox systems.

Dancing With the Stars season premiere recap: 13 new contestants put their best feet forward
that I had to look away for a moment. It’s probably not more glitter and sparkles than usual; it’s just that there is an adjustment period after going so long without DWTS. But now that we’re enveloped in bright, shiny things once more, everything feels right. Here’s the deal, guys: 13 new contestants of varying celebrity status have convened in the ballroom in hopes of taking home the Mirror Ball Trophy. They’ll each dance two routines over two nights before someone gets the boot. Let’s see how the new crop fares on night one.
Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber
Cha-Cha, “Treasure” by Bruno Mars
.@marylouretton and @SashaFarber stick the landing! ??#DWTS pic.twitter.com/9iZbNpZv7v
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
First female gymnast to win Olympic gold for the all-around is certainly impressive, but honestly, I’d lead with the first woman on a Wheaties box. If there’s not a routine this season that starts with Mary Lou jumping out of a giant Wheaties box, what are we even doing here? With Sasha at her side and the ballroom covered in red, white, and blue, she doesn’t look the least bit nervous. She comes out to cha-cha with a ton of energy — usually a great thing, but her over-excitement causes her to rush in places and lose timing. Still, it’s a good start, and the judges agree that if Mary Lou can relax a little, she’ll be in a great spot.
Judges’ Score: 19/30
Milo Manheim and Witney Carson
Cha-Cha, “Free Free Free” by Pitbull featuring Theron Theron
Zombies are light on their feet. Who knew? ????@MiloManheim @WitneyCarson #DWTS pic.twitter.com/QsCe2Kugql
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Serious question: Can we get Witney her own zombie podcast? She’s given the subject a lot of thought. This sudden interest in the undead is because her 17-year-old partner is an actor from the Disney original movie Zombies. For us oldies, Milo is also the son of actress Camryn Manheim. In their rehearsal package, Witney is literally teaching Milo how to walk the cha-cha, but once the music starts, Milo doesn’t look like a novice. He dances with so much gusto! The judges warn him about controlling his limbs — he’s very tall — but overall, they’re impressed. He also starts the dance with that thing where he jumps over his partner’s head — you always get points for jumping over your partner’s head.
Judges’ Score: 20/30
Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe
Foxtrot, “Do You Believe in Magic” by Aly & AJ
.@Evy_Lynch proves Ravenclaw was a house of dance! #DWTS pic.twitter.com/GyViACBvbm
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Harry Potter‘s Evanna Lynch is on the show because she was rejected from multiple dance colleges when she was younger. She’s in great hands with Keo. She’s in especially great hands with Keo in his blue-green sparkle suit. Evanna and Keo perform a classic foxtrot, and although all three of the judges agree that Evanna has the makings of a dancer (hear that, English dance college admission officers?), there’s room for improvement. Len didn’t think the style suited her (disagree, dude). Both Carrie Ann and Bruno want Evanna to work on her shoulders and extending her lines. They score her pretty low. Don’t they know she’s Luna Lovegood?
Judges’ Score: 18/30
Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev
Foxtrot, “Rise Up” by Andra Day

Salsa, “Dinero” by Jennifer Lopez featuring DJ Khaled & Cardi B

Nikki Glaser and Gleb Savchenko
Salsa, “YES” by Louisa featuring 2 Chainz
Ta-Da! ?#DWTS pic.twitter.com/ZOWXRLlwqB
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
“You look like you should be constantly emerging from a pool in slow motion,” comedian Nikki Glaser says upon meeting Gleb. Have truer words ever been spoken in the ballroom? In life? Nikki has zero dance experience, and her salsa with Gleb is awkward, but you can tell she’s giving it her all. Isn’t that what really matters? Not on this show! The judges are not impressed. Carrie Ann appreciates that Nikki let her wild woman out, but she needs to think about her body working as a whole. Bruno calls out Nikki’s lack of hip action. And finally, it only took seven dances for Grumpy Len to make his first ballroom appearance of the season — he was not pleased at all. Grumpy Len never is!
Judges’ Score: 17/30
Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten
Jive, “Good Golly Miss Molly” by Little Richard
.@AlexisRenG and @Dance10Alan put on a jive that’ll be tough to follow! Not that millions of followers will mind. ???? ????#DWTS pic.twitter.com/gz3r8wfDpL
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Sorry to inform you, friends, but “Instagram model” is a real thing! What a world. Alexis here has over 12 million followers (great for votes!) and is doing DWTS because it was her late mother’s favorite show. There might be some camera issues during Alexis and Alan’s ice cream shop-themed jive, but from the parts that we do see, it’s clear that Alexis can dance. She keeps up with Alan, and although her flicks and kicks aren’t totally there, her legs look good. Doesn’t the jive seem like a rough pull for week one? Maybe not with Alan, whom the judges all commend for his choreography. And I shall commend him for working that paper ice-cream shop hat. Good work, Alan!
Judges’ Score: 21/30
John Schneider and Emma Slater
Foxtrot, “Good Ol’ Boys from Dukes of Hazzard” by Waylon Jennings
Making their way the only way they know how...with style! #TeamSuperDuke #DWTS pic.twitter.com/jVgPB8he6q
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Bo Duke, as I live and breathe. John Schneider is also a country music artist and an actor with a long career, but most people — including partner Emma — know him from The Dukes of Hazzard. They lean hard into that recognition, and his first spin on the dance floor is all Dukes themed. John is a big surprise of the night! The foxtrot is tough for a first dance, what with getting the frame and posture right, but John does well. Len thought he lacked “finesse,” but Carrie Ann and Bruno are both in John’s corner.
Judges’ Score: 18/30
Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong
Jive, “I’m a Lady” by Meghan Trainor
Tied for the top score of the night #TeamFiresAndFlames! pic.twitter.com/JhqsURI2Oa
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Admittedly, I had to look up who Tinashe is because I’m an old person. But then she walked out onto her stage and got the Beyoncé hair blowing in the wind treatment, and I became a fan. The singer is partnered with Brandon for his first season as a pro. This is a delightful turn of events. Our little Troupe Brandon is all grown up! And, you guys, he gives good choreography. He gives so much good choreography that Carrie Ann even asks for less of it so that Tinashe can really shine. What does this mean? No one knows. Still, it’s clear Carrie Ann, Bruno, and Len are all sweet on Tinashe. Could Brandon, our Brandon, make it to the finals in his first season?
Judges’ Score: 23/30
Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy
Quickstep, “It Don’t Mean a Thing” by Club Des Belugas
#TeamMcVal teaches us the facts of dance with a quintessential Quickstep! #NancyMcKeon @iamValC #DWTS pic.twitter.com/AszZ6a9nyd
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Bless you, Valentin. It’s only week one and already he’s sporting a tuxedo with tails. That boy came to win. Two-time champion and newly betrothed (oh you haven’t heard that Val and Jenna are engaged? Have you been locked in a dark, empty room for several months?) Val is partnered with Facts of Life star Nancy McKeon. She wants to show her daughters that you need to face your fears in life. Her fear is fringe. Or, maybe, doing something completely foreign to her in front of millions of people on live television. One of those two things. But she doesn’t look scared! She looks like she’s living. She also looks a little like Mark Ballas. Carrie Ann praises Nancy for her animated facial expressions — she’s a storyteller! — but Bruno, um, did not care for them. You can’t please everyone!
Judges’ Score: 18/30
Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson
Quickstep, “Fish Out of Water” by Leo Soul
#TeamCHECKusOUT take us shopping! @AmabileJoe @Dance10Jenna #DWTS pic.twitter.com/8WuUYKqPty
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Oh, Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe. Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise star “Grocery Store” Joe had two goals coming into this show: To get rid of his embarrassing nickname — he wants to be called “Dancing” Joe — and not to get eliminated first on another ABC reality show. There’s a good possibility neither of those things will happen. The first, because Grocery Store Joe is really catchy and also his first routine is grocery story-themed. The second, because he has a lot of trouble in his quickstep with Jenna. The judges remark on his charm and good looks, but all three of them try to avoid any talk of dancing. Typically, that’s not a great sign.
Judges’ Score: 14/30
DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold
Cha Cha, “Sweet Sensation” by Flo Rida
Are @DeMarcusWare & @lindsayarnold the ones to watch this season? #DWTS pic.twitter.com/c3mUIhpzA7
— Dancing with the Stars (@DancingABC) September 25, 2018
Are retired NFL Super Bowl champ Demarcus Ware and season 25 Mirror Ball champ Lindsay Arnold pandering to me? Don’t they know I, unfortunately, have no sway over the outcome of this show? Still, longtime readers will know I will always favor a sparkly blazer, no shirt combo above all else and hello, their cha-cha featured Demarcus jumping over Lindsay from the floor — no stairs necessary. Choreography of my dreams. The rest of it was fun, too! Len praises Demarcus’s presence on the dance floor, and Bruno couldn’t believe how light he was on his feet. Carrie Ann starts talking about the “inner light” that shines when Demarcus dances and instantly I realize just how much I’ve missed this show.
Judges’ Score: 23/30
For those dancers who did not score as well as they would have wanted — I’m so sorry Grocery Store Joe! — all hope is not lost. All 13 couples will be dancing the same style in a new routine tomorrow night. Scores from both dances will be factored into the first elimination of the season. So dance your little hearts out, you precious baby birds! You can do this!

Catching up with Grey's Anatomy: Everything you need to know before the new season
It’s officially my longest relationship, and I oddly feel quite proud admitting that fact. From declarations of love to tragic deaths, Shonda Rhimes has proven that she knows how to combine a hard-hitting medical drama with a little bit of comedy and a whole lot of romance.
Speaking of romance, who do I need to beg to bring back Scott Speedman as a series regular? Surely Dr. Marsh needs Dr. Grey to check on his kidney, right? And perhaps hang around Grey Sloane Memorial for a few years to do his own surgeries? I’d sign that petition. All day. Moving on.
Thanks to a few weddings and a shocking pregnancy announcement during last season’s finale, this season looks to be as juicy as ever. Here’s everything you need to know before the two-hour premiere on Sept. 27:
Amelia and Owen
Remember Amelia’s huge brain tumor? The one she had for ten years that may have caused all of her erratic behavior? It was thankfully cut out, but now Amelia wonders if Owen fell in love with Brain Tumor Amelia. Owen thinks the idea is ridiculous, but that doesn’t stop Amelia from distancing herself from him. Their marriage crumbles as a result.
What’s a guy to do? Why foster a child, of course. When Owen quickly figures out that kids are a full-time job, Amelia is happy to lend a helping hand. She’s also happy to stick around when she learns that the baby’s mom is a teenaged alcoholic. Amelia invites her into the house, and a charming little dysfunctional family is born. Owen is living his dream. Sort of.
Meredith and Nathan
Ugh. If Abigail Spencer wasn’t so cute, I’d hate her character Megan for screwing up Meredith’s relationship with Nathan. Megan is Owen’s sister and Nathan’s fiancé who served in the military with them but has been presumed dead for ten years. Guess what? She’s not dead! And she’s headed to Grey Sloane with a medical emergency. Look alive, everyone.
Are we glad that Megan survived her time in Iraq? Sure. Is it annoying that Meredith had to save her from her weird abdominal injury? Of course. It’s just a wee bit irritating that Meredith is finally open to loving someone again and she has to take the high road when Nathan looks at her with sad yet hopeful eyes, begging her to understand that his “big love” is miraculously back in his life. “If it were Derek, I would already be gone.” Classic Meredith.
Owen and Teddy
Owen takes off to Germany to see Teddy in person, ready to give it a go. All is well until Teddy learns that Owen just slept with Amelia five seconds ago. No sir! He high tails it back to Seattle and resumes his awkward arrangement with Amelia, because it will never happen with Teddy. Owen hops back on that bandwagon, owning the chaos.
Naturally, Teddy shows up out of the blue and is handed the interim chief position on a silver platter. She accepts. Oh, she’s also preggers. Presumably with Owen’s love child. Put another log on the dysfunctional fire, please.
Miranda and Ben
Miranda is tired of being chief, so she hands those reins over to Teddy after a quick interview. The heart attack she experienced has her thinking twice about life, her son, and her hunky husband.
Oh yes. Ben (played by Jason George) is hunky. He’s also starring on Shondaland’s Station 19, which debuted in the spring. Both bounce back from fire station to hospital, but their love is grounded. I’m glad Bailey will no longer be stuck behind a desk pushing papers. (Continued on page 2)
Harper Avery
For starters, Harper Avery dies and Jackson gets a bajillion dollars as a result. He anonymously slips the hospital some money to host an innovation contest. Everyone is on board, but it’s Meredith and Jo who win. It has something to do with a polymer and growing liver, and both are stoked.
There’s just one glitch: Meredith must acquire a patent that belongs to Ellis Grey’s former best friend, Marie Cerone. She hard passes which sends Meredith into a deep dive to figure out what is up with Marie.
It turns out, Harper Avery had several acts of sexual misconduct filed against him back in the day, and Jackson’s mom covered it up by paying major settlements to the women. One of those women is Marie Cerone. Bailey shuts down the research project, and Jackson changes the name of the Harper Avery Foundation to the Catherine Fox Foundation to protect his mother’s name. He also promises to retain, repay, and rehire all the women who were affected by Harper Avery’s mistreatment.
Jackson and Maggie
THESE TWO CRAZY KIDS ARE FINALLY TOGETHER!
April and Her Crisis of Faith
Sarah Drew, who plays April, had a whirlwind of activity in her final episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. She walks away from God, parties way too much, sleeps around, reunites with her ex-fiance Matthew (whose wife was lost in surgery), and ends up in a car crash that sends her plummeting into an ice cold river.
When Matthew is brought into the hospital, Owen figures out that April was with him, so he leaves the ER and somehow finds her at the scene of the accident. Yay! Except she’s sort of dead. Boo. It’s a good thing she’s at Grey Sloane where lots of people on staff have been dead before, including Meredith, who barks, “Warm dead is dead dead.” Maggie finds a pulse and April is alive again. Yay!
Arizona and Sofia
Poor Arizona can’t catch a break. She knows her daughter Sophia is not happy in Seattle and struggles to figure out a plan. Luckily, her mentor Nicole Herman, in the form of Geena Davis, offers Arizona a partnership in creating the Robbins-Herman Center for Women’s Health. In New York. Where Callie lives. Done and done.
I’ll miss you most of all, Jessica Capshaw.
Jo and Alex
Jo and Alex always had a rough go, thanks to Jo’s miserable ex-husband Paul. He’s the worst in all the ways. When he arrives at Grey Sloane, Meredith and Alex save the day by advocating for Jo, and Paul leaves undeterred with his new wife. Moments later, Paul is brought into the ER with major injuries. It was a hit and run. Did Alex hit him? Did the wife? Does it matter?
The doctors save Paul, which does nothing for his horrible character. He tries to attack Jo while in recovery, slips, hits his head, and is immediately brain dead. And since Jo wasn’t divorced from him yet, she gets to decide if she wants to pull the plug. Which she does. Right after she donates all of Paul’s organs.
Now Jo and Alex are free to marry! They are also free to enjoy a quickie before the ceremony. In true Grey’s form, they get locked in a shed with a dead guy. Fun times.
The day is a disaster. April accidentally sends everyone to the wrong church. The on-site wedding coordinator goes into anaphylactic shock. A drunk DeLuca kisses Meredith. And when the reverend shows up to marry the happy couple, no one can find the bride and groom.
This doesn’t stop some people from their happily ever after. April and Matthew step up and tie the knot. They are headed off to do mission work for the homeless. Good-bye, April!
And finally, once Alex and Jo are rescued from the shed and its ghost, Meredith gets ordained and marries her two friends on the back of a ferry.
Who’s ready for season 15? How do we feel about the new doctors in town? Will Meredith ever get another love story? Do you think Jackson and Maggie will make it? Or will something dramatic happen in the first episode?
Great. I just jinked them.

Andrew Lincoln could be returning to The Walking Dead — to direct
“I have two young children, and I live in a different country, and they become less portable as they get older,” the star told EW. “It was that simple. It was time for me to come home.”
But — SURPRISE! — it turns out Lincoln may be back for season 10 after all, just not in the way we’re used to. The actor tells EW that he will actually be returning to the Senoia, GA set shortly (where the cast and crew is still filming season 9) to learn the directing ropes, with the plan of helming his own episode next season. “I’m going back,” says Lincoln. “I’m going back to shadow a director, and my intention is to direct next year.”
If those plans hold, that would make Lincoln the third actor in the Walking Dead franchise to also serve as a director. Fear the Walking Dead’s Colman Domingo (who plays Strand) recently helmed the “Weak” episode of that show, while Michael Cudlitz (who appeared as Abraham on TWD) returned recently to direct this season’s seventh episode, “Stradivarius,” which will air on Nov 18. In both instances, those actors shadowed directors on set before getting the job themselves, just as Lincoln will be doing himself.
Why return — even on a limited basis — to the series he just left? “I can’t be that far away because I can’t bear it,” laughs Lincoln. “That’s how much I am invested in the show and the continuation of the story.” And it appears Lincoln’s Walking Dead story just took a pretty big turn.

The fight for Earth is on in new Bumblebee trailer
on the brink of some kind of annihilation at the hands of giant shapeshifting robots, and the upcoming prequel is no exception. The new Bumblebee trailer shows that young Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld) gets more than she bargained for when she buys an old yellow Volkswagen Beetle for her 18th birthday and finds the Beetle transforming into Bumblebee, the little Autobot that could.
Charlie warns Bumblebee not to show his true form to anyone other than her, but that doesn’t last long, especially since Bumblebee isn’t the only Transformer on Earth. There are Decepticons as well (including Shatter, voiced by Angela Bassett), and they manage to convince military brass like Burns (John Cena) that Bumblebee is the real villain. As evil forces converge on Bumblebee and Charlie, the yellow robot gets an important message from Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen): “in order to end this war, you must protect Earth and its people.”
Since Bumblebee is set in the ’80s, years before Michael Bay’s original Transformers movies, viewers know that war isn’t going anywhere. But at least that spunky yellow robot can try.

Everything Everything: ‘The idea of masculinity is changing – we can share our emotions more freely now’
Watch our video interview with the band above.
The band were speaking to NME on the red carpet of this year’s Mercury Music Prize 2018, where they were nominated for their acclaimed album ‘A Fever Dream‘.
“I think it’s an album about feeling pulled apart and separate from everybody – being suspicious of your neighbours, tribalism, stuff like that,” frontman Jonathan Higgs told NME. “I think people have latched onto it because a lot of people are feeling like that. They don’t know where they stand any more or who anyone is. That happened overnight and it left a lot of people in the dark.”
The band followed up the album with the EP ‘A Deeper Sea‘ – where the track ‘Breadwinner’ questioned traditional attitudes towards masculinity and male mental health.
“A lot of people are talking about it now. I was watching a football match recently and the player was crying. I was thinking ‘That never would have happened in the ’90s. They would have got a lot of stick for that. Well, Gazza did – but now it’s like ‘Yes, we have emotions’ and we can share them a lot more freely now. It’s changed definitely for the better.”
The band also spoke of their final gigs of the year – including a yet-to-be-announced New Year’s Eve show in Manchester where they promise “17 songs, confetti cannons, T-shirt cannons, and climbing”.
Everything Everything tour dates and tickets
The band’s upcoming UK and Ireland tour dates are below and tickets are available here.

October 7 – Olympia Theatre, Dublin, Ireland

Supernatural season 14 trailer: Sam's dealing with the situation in Hell
Sam will find himself having to handle everything, mostly because Dean is busy being Michael’s (unhappy) vessel.
The CW has released the first trailer for the upcoming season, which gives fans a glimpse at Michael’s meeting with Jo, not to mention one of the archangel’s “methods” to getting answers. (Hint: Alastair would approve.) Meanwhile, Castiel, Sam, and Jack are trying to figure out how to defeat Michael and save Dean. Or maybe Jack isn’t so concerned with what happens to Dean?
On top of all that, the trailer shows Sam declaring that there will be “no new king of Hell.” It’s unclear what that could mean for the Winchesters — or anyone, for that matter — but it’s evident Sam is in no mood to mess around. One bit of good news? At least Sam has his mom back to help him handle everything.

Chris Evans to star in new Apple thriller series Defending Jacob
Chris Evans will star in and executive produce Defending Jacob, a limited drama series based on William Landay’s 2012 best-selling novel of the same name. The story is centered on a detective whose son is arrested for stabbing a classmate, leading the father to take drastic measures. The Imitation Game‘s Oscar-winning filmmaker Morten Tyldum will direct the series, but no further details were given on casting or airdate of the project.
This is Evans’ first major television role since 2000’s The Opposite of Sex miniseries. The actor will appear as Captain America in the fourth Avengers film next year and is then expected to hang up his shield. His other films in development include the post-World War II drama The Devil All the Time, in which he’ll reunite with his fellow Avenger Tom Holland (Spider-Man).
Evans is the latest high-profile name to come aborad Apple’s growing original series roster, joining the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, Octavia Spencer, Jason Momoa and Oprah.
It is still not known when these series will debut and how Apple will distribute them, but the emergence of the tech company in Hollywood has piqued the industry’s interest as it presents stiff competition to the likes of Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO, and basic cable networks in the race to deliver prestige television.

Calpurnia will head to the UK for a short tour in November, with tour stops currently planned in Manchester and London. The band will play at the Club Academy in Manchester on November 28 ahead of a show at London’s KOKO on November 29.
Tickets are set to go on sale on Friday (September 21) at 9am, and you’ll be able to find them here.

Earlier this year, Calpurnia shared the official video for ‘Greyhound’, starring Wolfhard.
Back in July, the four-piece made their live TV debut in the US with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. They marked the occasion by playing two cuts from the ‘Scout’ EP, ‘City Boy’ and ‘Greyhound’.
Speaking to NME earlier this year, Wolfhard admitted that a large section of the band’s fans are also into Stranger Things.
“Most of the fans of Calpurnia are Stranger Things fans, which is not a big deal at all,” the young actor and musician remarked. “They’re super loyal and incredible, and really do like the music.
“It’s the people who aren’t fans of the music and are just there because of Stranger Things that really bother me.”

The Last Week Tonight with John Oliver host and his wife Kate Norley are the proud parents of a second son born about three months ago, he told PEOPLE exclusively Monday night at the 2018 Emmy Awards Governors Ball.
“I have no idea! We have a 3-month-old, so as far away from the 3-month-old as possible,” Oliver, 41, joked of where he’d be displaying the trophy he nabbed for outstanding variety talk series, for the third year running.
The show also took home the awards this year for outstanding writing for a variety series and outstanding interactive program.

“It’s bewildering [and] exhausting juggling that and the show, but no, it’s the greatest,” Oliver explained.

“He’s going to start preschool. It’s going to be incredible,” Oliver said, adding of his own potential waterworks over his first child heading off to school, “As a British person, I don’t really have a middle ground — it’s either no emotion at all or I’m collapsing in tears.”
“So it will probably be the second one,” he quipped.

The Kravitz family rule Jimmy Fallon's Lip Sync Charades with Reese Witherspoon
add a Charades element to it, and you have The Tonight Show‘s Lip Sync Charades. Whatever you want to call it, though, the Kravitz family are really good at it.
Lenny Kravitz and daughter Zoe Kravitz teamed up against Fallon and Reese Witherspoon for this late-night TV show segment. Team Witherspoon ended up winning the whole shebang, but only because, in true Tonight Show fashion, that last round was worth a million gazillion points… or something. Meanwhile, the Kravitzes were in sync.
The teams took turns with one player sporting noise-cancelling headphones as the other lip synced to and acted out a song playing on stage.
“Brick House” by the Commodores? Give Zoe something hard to guess. “Fly Away”? That’s one of Lenny’s own songs, so of course he got it.
Though, we also can’t ignore the fact that in the final round Witherspoon guessed “Don’t Speak” within seconds. No doubt she’s a No Doubt fan.

Alec Baldwin Confirms Niece Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber ‘Just Went Off and Got Married’
The actor and Match Game host walked the red carpet at 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday, telling Access that Hailey, 21, and Bieber, 24, have already said their “I dos.”
“They just went off and got married,” Alec, 60, told the outlet, later adding he had only met Bieber “one time” but texts with Hailey “every now and then.”
PEOPLE was the first to report on Friday that the two stars had wed in a civil ceremony the day before, at a New York City courthouse. “They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone,” a source explained of the couple, who were seen walking into a courthouse where marriage licenses are issued.
RELATED: Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin’s Secret Marriage: ‘They Didn’t Want Anyone to Know’ Says Source
Hailey went on to claim in a since-deleted tweet that “I’m not married yet,” something a friend of the couple told PEOPLE she wrote because she “feels a civil ceremony and their ‘real’ wedding are two separate things.”
“What happened at the courthouse is a courthouse thing — a legal thing. But marriage is two people making a vow before God and the people they love,” added a religious source, confirming to PEOPLE that they were legally married at the courthouse but are planning to have a religious ceremony and celebration with family and friends soon. “They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love.”
Regardless of how it happened, Alec — who was at the awards with his wife Hilaria, 34 — had some advice for the newlyweds.
“You know, when you get married… [I] think it works best if you can really be together,” he told Access. “Like you hook your schedules up where you can really be with each other.”
RELATED VIDEO: Inside Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s Secret Ceremony: ‘They Didn’t Want Anyone to Know’
Alec previously doled out similar advice to the couple, telling etalk at The Public premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival that he wants “them to just spend time with each other.”
“I’m quite a bit older than both of them, but I got married recently, a few years ago. And my wife and I had four kids in four-and-a-half years. We have a lot of little kids,” the father of five said. “The thing is, all the work I do now is based on my family. There’s movies I got offered where they say, ‘Come leave town for five weeks. And no, we can’t travel your family with you. We don’t have that in the budget.’ And I pass because I don’t want to be away from my family. And I hope they realize that.”
No matter how outspoken Alec is, there’s one thing he told Access he won’t be doing: giving Bieber a fatherly talking to about his niece.
“She has a dad and I’m sure he has a few paragraphs about that himself,” Alec said, of brother Stephen Baldwin. “So I’m not worried.”

Editors' Picks! Our Favorite Looks from the Emmys Red Carpet
TV’s biggest stars kicked off awards season unafraid to go bold with their looks. From sequin-covered confections to eye-catching vibrant yellow ensembles, everyone brought their A-game to Monday night’s big event. In fact, there were so many show-stopping fashion moments at this year’s Emmys, the PeopleStyle editors narrowed all the looks down to our absolute favorites from the evening. Read on to see which looks we can’t stop talking about and decide for yourself who wore it best on the Emmys red carpet.
Keri Russell in Zuhair Murad Couture
Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: Wearing a black dress on the carpet is a classic, if not predictable choice. But when that dress happens to be a beaded Zuhair Murad Couture jacket design featuring a plunging neckline, two super-high slits and a peplum adorned with feathers, you get a look that’s anything but safe. And because I’m so smitten with the gown and how gorgeous Keri is in general, I’m willing to overlook the shoes (black sandals would’ve worked better).

Mandy Moore in Rodarte
Brittany Talarico, Senior Style Editor: The Mandy Moore-aissance is showing no signs of slowing down. The actress, who has become a red carpet darling over the past year and is a new front row fixture at Paris Haute Couture fashion week, continued her stylish streak in a custom Rodarte gown covered in sequins. The amber hue perfectly matched her newly dyed hair and she finished the look with a bronzy makeup moment. Also Mandy, if you’re reading this, please replicate those same effortless waves for your wedding. They are what Pinterest dreams are made of.

Issa Rae in Vera Wang
Kaitlyn Frey, Style & Beauty Assistant: I’m always supportive of sparkly looks on the red carpet, and Issa’s Vera Wang jumpsuit was no exception. The pale blue outfit is a true work of art: the Insecure actress revealed it took 100 hours for the team to construct and includes 3,000 stunning crystals on the bodice. To top it all off, the silvery, pearlescent blue shadow on her lids complemented the jumpsuit perfectly.

Rachel Brosnahan in Oscar de la Renta
Sharon Kanter, Deputy Style Director: As a nominee, the star of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel knew she was in for a big night, so she could have made a grandiose fashion statement in a big dress and lots of jewels. But she went the opposite direction and opted for simplicity instead, choosing a simple pleated off-the-shoulder design by Oscar de la Renta. The look focused on tailoring and fit. Plus, with Tiffany & Co. diamonds topping it off, the ensemble was minimal, yet elegant, proving you don’t have to scream for attention with an over-the-top look to turn heads.

Samira Wiley in Jenny Packham
Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: The Handmaid’s Tale star glittered like an Emmys statue in her silver embellished sequin Jenny Packham column gown with cap sleeves. She looked elegant, regal and perfectly appropriate on the carpet — she stood out without being overly flashy. Plus, her stop-and-stare Lorraine Schwartz jewels were a great complement to a show-stopping dress.

Sarah Paulson in Oscar de la Renta
Sarah Ball, Market Editor: Sarah Paulson looks stunning in this Oscar de la Renta tea-length gown — it’s simple, yet so striking. The plunging sweetheart neckline and feathered skirt add the perfect amount of drama. I love this look. She just looks so chic!

Scarlett Johansson in Balmain
Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: Scarlett Johansson’s Balmain dress is off-the-shoulder. And plunging. Sequin-embellished, too. Then there’s that ruching — right above a thigh-high slit. It’s also proof that when it comes to award season gowns, there’s never too much of a good thing.

Angela Sarafyan in Christian Siriano
Alex Apatoff, Lifestyle Director: Christian Siriano dressed at least eight stars last night, and each of them looked fabulous in her own way. But in my opinion, the best of the lot went to the Westworld actress. The classic silhouette dusted with a gazillion crystals made for a major entrance on the red carpet, but it was the elegantly understated beauty and accessories she wore with it that really made the whole look shine.

Kit Harington on How Game of Thrones Changed His Life: It 'Gave Me My Future Family'
The actor, 31, shared at the 2018 Emmy Awards how the hit fantasy series has changed his life — in no small part because he met his wife, Rose Leslie, on set. Their characters, Harington as Jon Snow and Leslie, 31, as Ygritte, were also love interests.
“It gave me my future family and my life from here on in,” Harington told reporters in the Emmys press room. “That’s the main thing it did for me, and it’s changed it completely.”

He continued, “The last 10 years, you could not ask for a better job to have in your 20s, to take you through your 20s than to be an actor in Game of Thrones. It’s been the most amazing thing. It’s changed it completely.”
Emilia Clarke, who also has a leading role in the HBO show, addressed the same question at her costar’s side. “It’s given me my entire career,” she said. “It’s given me my entire life as I know it now. I genuinely owe absolutely everything — it’s changed everything.”
Harington and Leslie first stirred up relationship rumors in 2012. After a brief split, the couple reconciled and continued to fuel romance speculation until they officially confirmed the relationship in April 2016.

The Mary Poppins Returns Trailer Is Finally Here! Watch Emily Blunt Sing and Soar to New Heights
The first full trailer for Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns has finally landed, and fans might have to watch it twice to catch all the fantastical details.
The classic children’s story is hitting the big screen once again with British actress Emily Blunt taking over Julie Andrews’ iconic role as the beloved, magical nanny. While this second rendition will certainly benefit from improvements in computer animation since the 1964 version, this new trailer — which dropped on Good Morning America Monday — suggests the film will be filled with vintage fun.
In the preview, Blunt, 35, makes an epic entrance when one of the next generation of Bankses is playing outside in Depression-era London.
“I was flying a kite and it got caught on a nanny!” he squeals with delight as his father Michael (Ben Whishaw) and aunt Jane (Emily Mortimer) — Mary’s original charges — look at her in shock.

Within moments, Blunt’s Poppins is reminding the now-grown Michael and Jane of their manners, surprising the children with her levitating umbrella and weaving cartoon magic into their home.

In a particularly heartfelt moment, Angela Lansbury, who has a minor role in the flick as the Balloon Lady, tells Michael — who’s skeptical about the “nonsense” Poppins brings with her — “You’ve forgotten what it’s like to be a child.”
Earlier this year, Blunt discussed what makes her take on the famous babysitter different, telling PEOPLE’s editor-in-chief Jess Cagle, “My perception of her in the books is that she is batty, eccentric, hilarious and incredibly rude and vain… I like that idea that she sweeps in and takes it all over and makes everything great.”

The A Quiet Place actress added, “I did not watch the original during the process of making it. I had seen it as a kid but I didn’t watch the details of it all because I had to do my version of her… It was just joyous.”
The seriously all-star cast also includes Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, Harry Potter‘s Julie Walters and Dick Van Dyke.
Directed by Rob Marshall, the movie hits theaters on Dec. 19.

First trailer for The Little Mermaid horror movie released
Disney has a live-action version of The Little Mermaid in the works.
This movie is very much not that.
This is Mermaid’s Song, an upcoming horror film take on Hans Christian Anderson’s classic tale starring Game of Thrones actor Iwan Rheon (who played Ramsay Bolton in the HBO series).
The official description: “The film is set during the 1930s Depression and tells of young Charlotte, who is struggling to keep the family business afloat. We’re not sure if that’s supposed to be a pun or not, but description continued: “When gangster Randall [Rheon] offers to pay off the family debt he demands some illegal changes to the business. But Charlotte, like her mother before her, is a mermaid capable of controlling humans with nothing but her voice, which creates a battle between all of those who want Charlotte’s magical powers for themselves.”
The film also stars Katelyn Mager and Brendan Taylor. Mermaid’s Song premieres on VOD this Tuesday.
