As the buzz continues to grow for Kendrick Lamar‘s followup to 2012’s good kid, m.A.A.d. city, the rapper is prepped to make an appearance on one of the bigger stages in TV to promote it: Saturday Night Live.
During Saturday night’s (Nov. 1) episode of SNL hosted by Chris Rock and featuring musical guest Prince, the show revealed in a breaker that Lamar will act as the musical guest on the Nov. 15 episode of the show.
Woody Harrelson will host.

Lamar has previously appeared on SNL twice. He acted as musical guest on the Jan. 27, 2013, episode of the show, also appearing in the Lonely Island digital short “YOLO,” while Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine hosted. Later, he appeared in a cameo when Imagine Dragons performed earlier this year, taking a verse on the remix of their track “Radioactive.”
The rapper will be promoting his new album, which will be his third. Lead single “i” has already been released, though little else is currently confirmed about the record.
