Twelve years after Napoleon Dynamite won our hearts (and Deb’s) with his dexterous dancing skills in the film that shares his name, he’s teaming up with his old pal Pedro to make a commercial for — what else? — tater tots.
Pope Francis Met Martin Scorsese to Discuss His New Movie About Priests
Following the “Whopperito” and those infamous Cheeto chicken fries, Burger King is now offering cheesy tater tots and they enlisted Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) and Pedro (Efren Ramirez) to recreate their memorable cafeteria scene from the movie in one of their restaurants.

In the clip, Heder asks Ramirez for one of his tater tots before proceeding to steal all of his tots; unfortunately for us, Heder doesn’t put them all in his pocket as Napoleon did in the film.

Netflix is adding the ability to download certain shows and movies so they can be watched later without an Internet connection, the company announced on Wednesday.
This Drone-On-a-Leash Looks Perfect for First-Time Flyers
The feature will begin rolling out immediately via an app update for iOS and Android devices. After updating to the most recent version of the Netflix app, users should see a download icon on the details page for some shows and films.
Netflix says shows like Orange is the New Black, Narcos, and The Crown, are already available for download, but hasn’t said how many shows in total will be watchable offline.
Your Favorite Arcade Games Are Coming To Facebook
Netflix is also adding an “Available for Download” option in its menu so that users can browse through all downloadable content. To access content that has already been downloaded to a mobile device, users can navigate to the app menu and select the “My Downloads” option. In this section of the app, users will be able to select individual TV episodes to watch and delete titles they no longer wish to save to their phone or tablet.
The new download option could help the company compete in global markets where wireless data connectivity is limited or expensive. It also comes as Amazon’s Netflix competitor, Amazon Prime Video, is set to see a massive global rollout.

If a sound can be sleek and fizzy, loungey and hopping, and hypnotic and bouncy all at the same, that would be J Motor. The electropop artist from Australia makes soundscapes — which is apt, considering he’s not just a musician, but a creative director and producer as well. As a content creator, the audio-visual experience J Motor likes to present is something he calls “boho/hip-hop.” The epitome of this is the single “Jungle Daze,” which is featured on Bud Light's 'Are You Game Ready' NFL TV Spot. Break out the blunts while you're listening to the slinky track, which was recently remixed by producer Luke Million (whom you might know for his remix of the extended theme song of Netfilx show Stranger Things”). Enjoy.
Hometown and homebase: Sydney, but am looking to spend quite a bit of time in LA from next year, onwards.
Why do you call yourself J Motor?
J is my nickname, and the motor came from my determination I guess. It's not easy learning two crafts and trying to establish myself in both music and film at the same time. A lot of people have advised my to stick to one or the other over the years, but I pushed through and aligned myself with great people who have helped me get to where I want to be.
What's your songwriting process?
It kind of varies... most of the time i'll work on a beat and put together a song structure, then i'll work on vocal melodies before adding in keys/synths or anything like that. I may have some key lyrics then, but I usually hone in on the lyrics once I'm happy with the vocal melodies.
How did you know you wanted to be a musician? Did you grow up in a musical family?
My dad always used to play Led Zeppelin when I was a kid, so i guess I was lucky to have been surrounded by good music from a young age. It was probably in my early teen years when I became fascinated with creating music.
What inspired the single "Jungle Daze"?
I was inspired by the connections that humans have with animals. There's an understanding that transcends through verbal communication.. like when an animal can sense when you're happy, in pain, or otherwise. It's an amazing thing. The title really represents this level of connection and encourages all of us to be a little more in tune with ourselves so we can help each other.
What's a piece of musical gear that you can't live without?
I know this is not actually a piece of musical gear per se, but my iMac would be my fav piece of gear. It's a bit of a beast of a thing.. quad core and a few other cool specs, which allows me to work on both music and videos without any issues / lagging ... no spinning wheel of death etc. Having a machine that doesn't slow you down is essential!
Who are your musical heroes?
John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Oasis
What's the craziest thing a fan has ever done for you?
It's still early days for me so i can't say I've had an over-the-top fan moment, but I'm constantly blown away by people from all around the world who drop me a line and let me know how much they love the song, and how it makes them feel. This is what music is all about.
What do you like better, writing music or directing?
I love creating! At the moment, I'm loving songwriting. I'm working with a bunch of great writers in LA and Australia … writers who come from very different musical backgrounds, so it's been great to challenge each other and I've loved learning how other people work. Directing will always be a passion of mine, but for now, music is my focus.
How do you describe your music to people who haven't heard it before?
I'd say electronic, boho / indie, hip hop / pop. I don't really want to be put in a box. I want to make music that breaks genre barriers and connects with a wider audience. I think I've achieved that with "Jungle Daze."
If you were a hashtag, what would you be?
#underdog

While some may debate the notion of love at first sight, there’s no debating the feeling one gets in their heart, stomach, and mind, when they lay eyes on someone and immediately feel a spark. This is the feeling Florida native Alex Di Leo harnesses with his latest single, “So We Go.”
The title track of Di Leo’s recently released EP, the video for “So We Go” features a love story intertwined with creativity and art, and Myspace has the exclusive premiere.
Wanting to know more about “So We Go,” and the love story in the video, we caught up with Di Leo to dive deeper into both the song and the clip.
Tell us about the concept behind the video for “So We Go,” and in what ways it represents the song.
“So We Go” is a story of two artists from distinct, and separate, worlds – she, a visual mixed media artist from the city, and he, a musician from the country.
As the video opens we see each in solitude in their specific, and unique, worlds, searching for inspiration and reflecting on those moments when pure ecstasy, joy, love and creative passion overtook and inspired their lives. I think those visuals, and exciting moments in the video are felt, and heard, throughout the song.
As each artist dwells in their memories and attempts to distract, and inspire, themselves, they come across objects, sights and feelings that spark flashbacks. We go back and forth between the two as we see what it was about the other that made them fall in love with them, and above all be creatively inspired by them.
Are you a fan of fine art, like the paintings in the clip?
I've always been a big fan of abstract art, and although I'm not a painter myself, I truly admire the work and creativity behind it.
“So We Go” is the title track of your debut EP, but it isn’t the first single off of the EP. What went into your decision to have this be the fourth song you released, rather than the first?
I thought that "So We Go" would be a perfect last impression, as it wraps up the whole concept of the EP.
The video for “So We Go” features Lexi Atkins. I have to ask, did you see Zombeavers, and did her role in that movie influence your decision at all to have her in your video?
Unfortunately, I haven't seen Zombeavers yet, but the director of the "So We Go" video, Cameron Uranick, sent over some actresses he'd worked with, and we thought she fit the character we were looking for. She was also in The Boy Next Door with Jennifer Lopez, which happened to come on a couple nights after we shot the video.

Another year of professional wrestling is winding down as we head into December. Many people are ready to forget 2016 or wished that these past 11 months never existed. As terrible as 2016 has been, we take a look at the stars of professional wrestling that made the most out of their opportunities and ascended to the top of the food chain. Regardless of the brand or country, pro wrestling is always a mix bag of amazing matches, terrible gimmicks and WTF moments. Even with all of that madness, we’re now in a new era of wrestling driven by youth, indie talent and five-star entertainers. Here’s the best of the best when it came to 2016!
Honorable Mentions:
- Samoa Joe
- The Revival
The greatest wrestler outside of WWE is “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega. The casual wrestling fan may not know of Kenny, but boy are they missing out. Performing out of Japan for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Kenny is the #1 wrestler on WWE’s wish list. If you haven’t seen him, imagine Shawn Michaels, mixed with some Brian Pillman and a dash of video game geek and you get the awesome that is Kenny.
From his epic entrance to delivering match-of-the-year candidates every time he steps into the ring, and cutting vicious and hilarious promos on the mic, Kenny has the “It” factor that only few wrestling superstars have. Omega started the year by removing AJ Styles as leader of Bullet Club and took over the role. On top of winning the IWGP Intercontinental Champion and NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship this year, Kenny became the first ever Gaijin (foreigner) to win the G1 Climax tournament. With a Heavyweight Championship run in his future, Kenny is solidifying his place as one the Elites.
No woman in professional wrestling had a better 2016 than the “Empress of Tomorrow.” Upon arriving in NXT in late 2015, Asuka has been exactly as she was billed as, an unstoppable force in the women’s division. In April at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Asuka beat Bayley to win the NXT Women’s Championship. Since then, all that she’s done is go undefeated and literally cleaned out the NXT women’s division. Bayley, Nia Jax, Eva Marie, Dana Brooke, Emma, Alexa Bliss and Carmella all left NXT with losses to Asuka on their resume.
Having just defended her title against soon-to-be Hall of Famer Mickie James at NXT TakeOver: Toronto, what’s next for Asuka? Outside of a feud with Mickie or the fast-rising Ember Moon, there’s not much left for her to do in the division. Having Asuka feud with a male competitor would make things really interesting and give her character a different spin that not many women could achieve.
A year ago AJ Styles was in NJPW battling for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Today he’s the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. No one would have believed that the former TNA Champion would reach the heights he’s had in WWE. But AJ’s broken that TNA glass ceiling and made himself a top WWE Superstar.
From making his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble in January to then reuniting with Bullet Club members Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows as The Club, Styles has turned into a fan favorite. He spent much of the summer doing one of his favorite things: beating up John Cena! Pinning Cena a few times and dubbing himself the “New face that runs the place,” Styles set his sights on the WWE championship. At Backlash in September, AJ won his first WWE Heavyweight Championship by beating Dean Ambrose. Since then he’s been in an ongoing feud with Dean. With no signs of slowing down, we better get used to Styles being the top man on Smackdown Live.
Had Matt not accomplished anything in the ring in 2016, he’d be on this list just for his epic YouTube videos. The Hardys (Jeff and Matt) have been floundering in TNA the past couples of years, so no one was expecting much of anything from Matt. This summer, however, Matt proved us all wrong when we were introduced to his new persona, Broken Matt Hardy. Sounding like a bad Shakespearian actor and sporting a new white streak in his fuzzy black hair, Broken Matt became “must-see” TV as he released bizarre, low-grade productions of his feud with brother Jeff that he renamed “Brother Nero.”
Channeling his best Tommy Wiseau impersonation, Broken Matt created these long, deliciously awful videos that are on par with anything seen in Wiseau’s The Room. With TNA’s current murky future, these viral videos are the best thing the company has produced in 2016. Even fellow wrestlers like Chris Jericho are fans of videos like “The Final Deletion.” Now with Brother Nero fighting alongside Broken Matt as Tag Team Champions, let the campy goodness continue!
For years WWE had a bad track record in utilizing and pushing Japanese stars. When news broke that “The King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura was heading to WWE, many fans, including us, were nervous about how Vince and company were going to use the enigmatic star. Upon arriving to NXT in April at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, it’s been nothing but money as the Nakamura craze has taken over WWE.
The man can wrestle, as we’ve seen in classic matches against the likes of Sami Zayn, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. His charisma and energy is contagious the moment his entrance music hits, driving the crowd to serenade him with his own theme song. It’s easily one of the most impressive things you’ll ever see in wrestling.
Nakamura topped off his magical run by winning the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in August. Even though he just lost the belt back to Joe, we couldn’t have scripted a better first year for Shinsuke in WWE.
When you’re the daughter of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, you’re already winning in life. While fans love to cheer and fanboy/girl over Sasha Banks or Becky Lynch, the most consistent female performer on the main roster has been Charlotte. It’s easy to hate Charlotte because of her lineage or because WWE positioned her as the face of the women’s division, but all she does is deliver week after week.
“The Queen” has had quite the marquee year, highlighted by becoming the first new WWE Women’s Champion at the biggest stage of them all, WrestleMania 32. Charlotte has made 2016 her year by being involved in the most talked about and important women’s main events. Additionally, she keeps improving as a wrestler in every match. Even though she’s been playing hot potato with the championship belt with Sasha Banks (having just lost the title to Sasha again this week on RAW) since WrestleMania, using Charlotte as a pillar to build the women’s division on, is what’s best for business.
What did you accomplish this year? Kevin Owens won the Intercontinental Championship, got the best of his longtime rival Sami Zayn in their feud, became the new WWE Universal Champion and had the best bromance of 2016 with his friendship with Chris Jericho. I’d say all of that qualifies as a pretty good year.
At this point, Kevin should have merch with “Entertain Owens Entertain,” because that’s all he does every time he comes on TV. We’ve already declared our love and admiration for KO, and 2016 just cemented his position as one of the pivotal stars of the current WWE generation. Owens is 100% a classic wrestling heel and loves wearing that black hat. In a time when most wrestlers love getting the cheers and chants from crowds, Owens spends his time insulting the WWE Universe and doing anything he has to in order to stay on top of the mountain. He does underhanded and conniving very well, and the wrestling galaxy is lucky to call him champ.

Wasting no time following their departure from their previous major music label, PAPA hit the ground running and took their career paths into their own hands. Their sophomore studio album, Kick at the Dust, is a reflection of what they aim to achieve and the influence they intend to leave — a legacy unburdened by fame and monetary distractions.
Myspace caught up with PAPA fresh from their tour to talk about the significance of their new album, the subsequent tour and the stability they've found in the ever-fluctuating music industry.
Instrument: Vocals and drums
About the Tour and New Album, Kick at the Dust: So far we’ve done two little trips to support this record — one in Europe and one here. We’ve been sort of functioning on a DIY level. and this last tour we booked ourselves. It was kind of like going back to the beginning of how the band started. Much like the album itself, this series of chores that we’ve done so far has all been about taking the control and the power back after we went through the whole major label run-through and were left feeling very disenfranchised, but then taking that back. It was a sort of manifesting of the future that we wanted and believed in.
Song or Band That Inspired You to Become a Musician: I’d be lying if I said my favorite drummer wasn’t Travis Barker from Blink 182 when I was younger. As we grew up and developed our own style of musicianship and figured out what kind of artists we wanted to be, what kind of music we wanted to write, that coincided with our discovery and immersion into underground punk culture. Whether it’s bands like The Clash, Fugazi or Hot Snakes — those bands were crucial to the development of our ethos and musical aesthetic. While we were living in New York, there was more of an immersion into the works of artists like Talking Heads, David Bowie, and Patti Smith.
Favorite Stop on Tour: San Francisco was always like a home away from home to us. From the very beginning of the band and for whatever combination of reasons, it’s always been a place where we have a really deep connection with our fanbase.
On Maintaining Originality: For us and looking at what our favorite artists have done in the past, the ones who seem to have the most lasting power are the ones who want to emulate rather than try to catch up with what other people are doing. I don’t think either of us are interested in making music for right now, we’re interested in making music for forever. In order to do that, you have to reach into a deeper truth than thinking about what’s happening right now. That’s not to say that we don’t pull interest culturally, politically, or socially — we hear everything that’s going on — but in terms of where we want to go, we reach for something deeper and try to get ahead of our own selves and our own tendencies.
Aspects Which Elevate Your Performances: If you’ve been to a PAPA show, you know there’s a lot of humor and jovial behavior, but I take that fun and that connection very seriously. Each performance is a true and honest reflection of where we are as artists in that moment. Because of that, every audience is getting a genuine performance, and every audience is helping us create that moment. We want each night to be unique. It’s more of a conversation than a monologue, and it’s what’s made our live show such an important part of our career and artistic growth.
Instrument: Backup vocals and bass
About the Tour and New Album, Kick at the Dust: The whole release of this record has been a process. It’s been basically that we got away from our label, we made this record on our own, and it’s gone right back to where we were at the beginning of the record. There were highs and lows about it. There was definitely that feeling when you connect with the audience that’s wonderful, and then there are nights when you played in weird areas where there weren’t as many people. It felt that like the beginning again, and there was a nice feeling of getting back to our roots.
Song or Band That Inspired You to Become a Musician: I had three posters — the [Red Hot] Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin and Blink 182. Of course our parents raised us with The Beatles and classics like that, but I wasn’t as blessed to have the “cool” parents. My dad used to play a lot of Lionel Richie and Hall and Oates. Another band that really fucked us up as kids was Mars Volta — their level of musicianship was kind of unmatched at that time for a bigger band in the indie rock/alternative scene.
Favorite Stop on Tour: The Chapel in San Francisco is my favorite venue we've ever played in. I like to go to places where people leave their egos at the door. It’s more fun when you can feel that connection with the audience.
On Maintaining Originality: There are so many elements that aren’t musical anymore about the music industry, mainly being social media and all of that. A lot of times, I would spend my day on it and wondering “Is that cool?” I don’t do this anymore, but I did and it was making me anxious. It was really annoying. I understand the power of social media and, believe me, it’s done good things for a lot of people. For me personally, it feels like high school.
Aspects Which Elevate Your Performances: One thing I think is missing from today’s rock shows is spontaneity because everything is played to tracks for the most part. The sounds are so programmed these days, and one thing that we’ve strived to do — and so far have succeeded in — is practicing the fuck out of our instruments. When you come see us, we may hit a wrong note here or there, but it’s still a right note, it still sounds good. When you do that — when you take away everything — there’s a level of intimacy that I think is heightened when you can hear and see the notes being played. That to me is my favorite part of my show, and the fact that we put on a fucking great show.

Young Guns have been bringing us big sounds, thoughtful lyrics and one helluva a good gig for the past eight years. And while their last three albums solidified their place in rock music, the band hit a crossroads in late 2015 when founding member and drummer Ben Jolliffe decided to leave the band.
"One of the founding members of the band left," lead singer Gustav Wood told Myspace over thai food. "And he wasn’t just a bandmate, we were all best friends. It was a real shift to our friendship. We lost our friend to another country. We lost a bandmate."
However, Ben's departure allowed the UK band to really look at themselves and figure out what they wanted to do next. And during the time of introspection, they came up with their latest effort, Echoes. We had the chance to take the band out for some vegan summer rolls and vegetarian pad thai at the outdoor food market, Mad. Sq. Eats, in New York City to talk about this and other changes in the band's dynamic as well as their new record.
As the guys dug into their meals and sipped on pineapple agua frescas from the Two Tablespoons pop-up stand, we chatted about how Echoes was unlike their other work — not only because of who collaborated on this effort, but also because this really was a personal one for Gus.
"Everything that I wrote, from a lyrical perspective and all of that, was all that I could talk about. And that was the only thing on my mind," he explained. "I think if I tried to write about anything else, it would be insincere. And we definitely as a band, we’ve been very lucky with our careers so far. We’ve been really productive and excited. And we’ve come to a place, and I as a person, found myself in a place, in 2015 where it was time for a change."
Delving into the end of a six-year relationship, followed by Ben's departure, Gus saw the album as an opportunity to really let his and the other band members' creativity soar.
"To be honest with you, it just felt appropriate and a way for me to address things and put them to bed and look forward," he explained. "So for me, it’s a record for I was at that point in time, where we were in that point in time. We had to do what we had to do to move forward. So we had to be frank with ourselves and talk and think about everything in order to move on. The album is about not living the past anymore and putting those things to bed and putting our best foot forward and looking ahead to a brighter future."
Since the band used to live in one house in London, Gus admitted that "it streamlined the process a little bit. We wrote most of the album in [Fraser Taylor's] bedroom."
And starting Echoes as a foursome, Young Guns got back to their roots and found a new energy for their music. "I think it was really good for us as a group of four," Gus admitted. "We reconnected a little bit and listened to each other and the dynamics in the group had to change because there was one person less. And we had to reconnect in a positive way, and that came out in the writing. There was a great emphasis on Simon’s bass playing, which came to the forefront more. Things like that were really good for us as a new chapter."
But the rock quartet needed to find a new drummer and found it in Chris Kamrada. The Florida drummer, who had previously worked with PVRIS and Saints of Valory, joined the band in February while Echoes was still in recording stage. And after a little more than a week with his new band members, Chris just jumped right in and contributed his two cents.
"It was an interesting dynamic meeting them for the first time," he admitted. "I had to sit there and pick apart songs and be brutally honest. I think it was a healthy way to all meet. It was a good start to be creative and being honest and going for something great and not just good. It felt like a turning point."
With Chris' previous music experience, he empathized with Gus, guitarists John and Fraser Taylor and bassist Simon Mitchell. "It was exciting for me to also help them feel excited again," he explained. "I know that position when you put out records, and you feel disappointment from record labels and so on and so forth. A lot of bands have that issue. And it’s awesome to feel something new, a new presence, a new energy, anything that really brings a creative atmosphere that brings positivity. I think that happened when we were working on the album and everything. Even if it was rushed and things were done on the fly, sometimes just letting go and saying, 'Fuck it,' and playing and making the music is very important."
Guitarist John Taylor felt that the addition of Chris "gave us a new invigoration" and that really showed when the band worked on "Mercury in Retrograde." John and Gus worked tirelessly on the track to get it right.
"We kept saying to ourselves that we had to finish this song," John conveyed. "We sat up all night, just drinking, smoking cigarettes, just making it happen. And it turned out to be one of my favorites."
Gus agreed. "Yeah, and I think it’s all about that. It’s capturing the moment. Sometimes the best things come out of very stressful situations. I mean, these guys came in the next day, and John and I have been up for about 28 hours. We were just goblins, blinking from the darkness. But it was great because it was a creative atmosphere in the studio."
Meanwhile, Chris had to contribute his part of that song on his way to the airport. And while that sounds like a crazy way to put a song together, the final product proves that nothing could stop these guys from putting together a great record. And they also could thank multi-platinum award-winning producer David Bendeth for that, too.
"He really liked our tracks, and he wanted to work with us," Simon explained. "And we wanted to work with someone who can really tear a track to shreds and really get the best out of us. We wanted someone to challenge us as musicians as well. So that’s what we got by working with David. And that first day when we went to the studio and went through all the demos and the songs, it wasn’t going to be an easy process. But we weren’t expecting that. So he made us work for it. It was definitely worthwhile. He’s great at what he does."
As we wrapped up lunch, we ended the conversation on their favorite parts of touring. And while Chris and Simon pointed to the obvious answer of performing live every night. Gus highlighted the point that they've been lucky to have the opportunity to do what they do.
"We’re fortunate that when we go to New York, we’re able to meet with these people and these people," he said. "Then we go to our favorite pizza spot that we know because we’ve been to this city enough times. Those are not things that, as a child, I would ever be able to say or to know. So as a group of friends, we’ve been to Thailand. We’ve been to China. We've been to Japan. We’ve been all around Europe. We’ve been to the States. We’ve been to all these places that I’ve been desperate to go to my whole life and assumed I’d never be able to. So getting to do that by playing music for a living with my friends is a pretty spectacular thing. And it's important to take a step back and appreciate that."

While it’s thrilling to read and watch the Harry Potter story, with a book series that is over 4,200 pages long and movies that clock in at nearly 20 hours total, it’s hard to find the time to get through the entire tale of the boy who lived. Luckily, someone has now made a supercut of all eight films that has a runtime of just under 80 minutes.

It’s been nearly eight years since Heath Ledger’s tragic death, but ex-wife (and mother of their 11-year-old daughter, Matilda) Michelle Williams has remained a successful parent and Oscar-nominated actress on her own. In a recent interview with Porter magazine, Williams shed a little insight into motherhood during the grieving process — as seen through the lens of her character in the critically acclaimed new drama Manchester by the Sea.

“It’s like the darkest part of your heart, something happening to your child … She’s making a brave choice, moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day,” Williams explains of her character’s drive to reclaim her life after loss. “Because it is a choice. I would exit,” she said. “It would be so much easier than living with the loss.” (In the movie, Williams’s character Mia becomes estranged from main actor Casey Affleck.)
“In all honesty, for pretty much everything else, I feel like I’m a believer in not fighting circumstances, accepting where you are and where you’ve been,” she told the fashion magazine. “I would be able to go totally down that line of thinking were it not for Matilda not having her dad… I mean, it just won’t ever be right.”

Williams also shared a tender moment realizing her daughter was growing up happily.
“Not only are we OK, she’s happy. Life has brought us to a place that’s not just surviving, but thriving,” she said.

Since revealing that she had an affair with Harrison Ford while filming Star Wars: A New Hope, Carrie Fisher has been getting many questions about the three-month-long fling. And so her Tuesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show was no different.

While DeGeneres began by asking the Princess Leia actress about her Coca-Cola drinking habits, she quickly segued into chatting about Fisher’s long-held secret. “I told other stuff to distract people so they wouldn’t figure it out,” Fisher said. “No one thought it was happening at the time – I don’t even know if he did!”
She went on to explain that although she had feelings for Ford at the time, the relationship developed out of the on-set atmosphere. “I was in infatuation, probably — love is more mature,” she said. “I was 19. No one told me about location rules, or lack of rules. But you can do whatever you want, as long as you film the movie.”

Ever since Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life debuted on Netflix, longtime fans and newcomers to the franchise have been abuzz about Rory, Lorelai, and the whole town of Stars Hollow.
Some of the series’ characters are more beloved than others, however, which Alexis Bledel revealed when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk about the Netflix revival with the late night funnyman.
Gilmore Girls’ Matt Czuchry: ‘I Don’t Feel I Need to Defend Logan’
Fallon, who recently started watching the show, revealed that he was upset with the pivotal plot twist in Rory Gilmore’s love life in the fourth season of the show, before also revealing that he was “Team Jess” — referring, of course, to Rory’s bad boy (and best) ex-boyfriend. He then told Bledel that besides Rory, his favorite characters on the show were Luke, Kirk, and Rory’s inimitable rival-turned-bestie Paris Geller. Bledel chimed in with her own.
“I think Caesar is awesome,” she said referring to the long suffering cook at Luke’s Diner. “He’s underrated, he’s amazing.”
Bledel also revealed that she loves the double trouble duo of Rory’s neighbor Babette and Stars Hollow’s resident dance teacher Miss Patty.
“They were on All in the Family together and every time they would come to set and sing show tunes, and it was such a raucous day on set every day they were there, so I have to appreciate them.”
Here’s What Cheryl Strayed and Reese Witherspoon Say About Their Gilmore Girls Revival Moment

Gary McClure’s American Wrestlers was once an anonymous project. Making music, he says, “is truly about becoming good enough to write the album you wanted to listen to when you were 15.” He adds, “Every time I make a new record, I feel like I’m getting closer.”
The songwriter released Goodbye Terrible Youth this month by disavowing his Tascam mixer (the home recording device apparently broke down from overuse) and creating a bigger sound. “I wanted to write songs that bridged the gap better between audience and stage,” he says. “Faster, louder more distortion. Something you can do handstands and backflips and start small fires to.”
McClure, who moved to Missouri from Scotland for love, has said that the midwest has been a key influence, with a bigger music scene than the one he came of age in Europe. It was while he was working a warehouse job for UPS that McClure began working on his American Wrestlers album. “I’m always surprised by how each record brings me closer to writing simpler, heavier, catchier songs like those bands who gave me my musical epiphany: Nirvana, the Smashing Pumpkins, Hole and that first Foo Fighters record,” he says. “I first learned how to write by copying them and got lost for a decade in intricacy and experimentation. Now, it feels like I’m heading back.”
Hometown: I was born in East Kilbride near Glasgow, Scotland
Homebase: Just by the Mississippi river, Saint Louis, MO
Why are you called American Wrestlers? Aren't you from Scotland?
You know, Paul McCartney isn't actually a beetle.
Did you grow up in a musical household?
Music was my own kept secret after I caught myself addicted to the fighting cartoon show theme tunes rolling on the gogglebox in the afternoons. Then a man screamed and I cried until someone gave me a guitar.
What most influenced Goodbye Terrible Youth? And why that title?
The title is a joke. Pure phonetics actually. The vowels fit the tune. So, personally it means nothing. I saw a gap in the market for just writing actual songs without fucking around like a gimp.
Does living in St. Louis vs. Scotland influence your sound a lot?
I don't know. Not to a degree that I'm aware of. I never bought into the idea that a place is responsible for quality or quantity of art. I would think it's more to do with age. I seem to give less of a shit the older I get.
How did you meet your bandmates and get them to join your musical journey?
I recorded some dumb song to a stupid cassette and left it in the cafe of the local art museum, or it might have been a public toilet. Josh and Ian found it and put a gun to my head 'til I signed a contract to dance to the music therein for exactly four years.
Who would you love to collaborate with?
I really wish I coulda jammed with Derek Bailey.
What do you do for fun?
I watch the injustice network.
Were you in other bands before? What were they like?
Working for a Nuclear Free City. They were better than pretty much every band that's around right now.
How would you describe your music to someone who's never heard of you?
A sad old man whose nostalgia trip coincidentally turned out to be exactly what was hip for a couple of years.
What is your day job? Does it help you make music for the band?
No they just get in the way and depress me every minute I spend working them. I move things around for some fat white guy so his self-absorbed wife can pamper her inconsequential kids.
Who are your biggest songwriting influences?
Manic Street Preachers, Therapy?, Mansun.
What’s your big rest-of-2016 goal?
Tour. Try to avoid work.

Break out your brain bleach and prepare to be thoroughly bored out of your mind, here are 8 of the worst animes I’ve ever seen. I’ve done the dirty work and suffered through countless terrible animes to bring you this list. While some verge on "so-bad-it’s-good" territory, others are just downright awful. Bear in mind, I am only human, so I’m sure this list only uncovers the tip of the cringe-worthy iceberg.
(Disclaimer: Excluded from this list are any works of hentai (Japanese anime porn), any blatantly pedophilic content (nope, nope, nope!) or meme-tier animes like Shitcom because those are such low-hanging fruit they’re not even worth mentioning anyway.)
Starting off this list is School Days, an anime that falls under the "so-bad-it’s-good" category. School Days is sure to grace nearly every "worst anime ever" list out there, and for good reason, too. This infamous harem anime is a complete and utter train wreck from start to finish, with an extremely bland cast of characters and over-the-top violence.
The two acts feel incongruous: the beginning ambles along while the second act is equivalent to an extravagant but low budget gore porn flick. Fans of the series argue that School Days is a misunderstood deconstruction of the popular harem genre akin to Puella Magi Madoka Magica and the magical girl genre. While I did appreciate the series for its treatment of the main character and how it subverts common tropes in the harem genre, the execution was so poor that it was more comedic than enlightening. If you’re looking for a good laugh and are willing to suffer through more bad than good, I suggest giving School Days a try.
Like School Days, Mayoiga also falls into the class of "so-bad-it’s-good" anime. Given that this treats viewers to one of anime’s first ever male yandere characters and features a hilarious scene where our protagonists are being chased by a giant silicone breast implant on crab legs, how could it not be?
Mayoiga follows a group of social misfits who find themselves stuck in an abandoned village and terrorized by a host of fantastical monsters for no apparent reason. Initially, I was super hyped for this anime, but as it progressed I soon realized how totally awful it was destined to be. The plot is both incomprehensible and painfully simple, and the main character is insufferably dense and incompetent. Except for a few with names like Soy Latte, Pink Goddess and Lovepon, the ridiculously large cast is also mostly forgettable. The story and characters are all so absurd that I’m almost convinced Mayoiga is actually a satirical comedy instead of a supernatural mystery, as it claims.
With a mere 2.38 on My Anime List, Mars of Destruction is the lowest rated entry on this list. The problem with Mars of Destruction is that it tries to do too much and subsequently accomplishes nothing. Interspersed between pointless battle scenes, Mars of Destruction tries to introduce half a dozen original characters and jam in a complicated plot about alien "Ancients" and the true origins of humanity all in a mere 20-minute time frame. Everything about this original video animation (OVA) is senseless and offensively basic, so do yourself, and your brain cells, a favor and skip this anime completely.
If I had to describe Eiken in one word, it would be: boobs. Boobs, or breasts for the more dignified crowd, are the stars of this one hour OVA. The well-endowed females are mere props to carry the boobs from one location to another. If this sounds like an exploitative, demeaning premise, it’s because it is. The worst part is that Eiken isn’t even content to embrace its true nature as pornographic wish-fulfillment, but instead tries to masquerade as a slice-of-life romantic comedy with a threadbare plot about a boy named Densuke Mifune who is forced to join the Eiken club, which otherwise admits only the bustiest of ladies. True to its form, Eiken goes so far to sexualize an 11-year-old with a 111 cm bust. So there’s that. Going to go rinse my brain with sulfuric acid.
Don’t be fooled by Glasslip’s stunning visuals; underneath the lush colors and fluid animation is a vague and pretentious sci-fi about a group of friends whose tranquil lives are disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious boy who holds the secrets to Earth’s survival. Plot wise, Glasslip goes nowhere and substitutes gimmicks for real substance. The only memorable thing about this anime is how totally unmemorable it is. While far from the worst entry on this list, the series suffers from devastating mediocracy.
Sky Wizards Academy is one of those anime so mind-numbingly generic that I can immediately identify one just from the promotional videos or the posters. Much in the same vein of The Asterisk War but even worse, Sky Wizards Academy is so generic that it attempts almost every genre — magical girl, harem, mystery, mecha, action, drama, fantasy, romance, comedy — yet commits to none. Even the art style is generic, a mix between Sword Art Online, whose art style I actually enjoy, and a lesson out of a How to Draw Manga 101 textbook you can buy on Amazon for $12.99.
The plot could be used to describe dozens of other anime (or young adult novels) as well: in a dystopian future, teenagers are enrolled in special universities that teach them how to fight against giant armored bugs (in this specific case, bug can replace it with any type of menace) that threaten to wipe out humanity. Like I said, generic.
Pupa is one I’m sad to include on this list. Having read the manga and mostly liked it, I was disappointed with how utterly WTF the anime was. Each episode is only four minutes long and the entire 12-episode season is basically unintelligible. Normally I’m a fan of anything experimental, and I applaud creators for trying something new even if they don’t do a great job. Pupa, however, feels lazy, relying mostly on fairly tame shock and gore to keep viewers mildly engaged. By breaking it up into four-minute episodes, all the suspense and anticipation that makes horror so addictive and thrilling is lost. Worst of all, for a psychological horror series, it’s just incredibly boring.
Closing this list is Momo Kyun Sword, based on the Japanese folk tale of a mythical warrior born inside a peach who, accompanied by the animal gods Inugami, Saurgami and Kijigami, travels in search of the devil king who is stealing the sacred treasures that protect the Earth.
With an awesome premise, it’s even more tragic that this anime is so superficial and banks on such blatant fan service to keep audiences watching. Although Momo Kyun Sword has a premise, it certainly doesn’t have a plot — each episode is so pointless and predictable it’s like the entire series is comprised solely of fillers, the bane of all anime fans. I even liked Mayoiga and School Days more than Momo Kyun Sword because at least they were entertaining at some points. The anime is so bland and inoffensive that I can’t believe anyone (myself included) even watched through all 12 episodes.

Irish heartthrob Niall Horan was once just the blonde member of boy band sensation One Direction. But after the mega-group’s ‘break,‘ however, he’s come into his own as a solo artist with the release of chart-topping ballad “This Town.” And now he’s about to be known as every diehard Directioner’s favorite guy in the group, given this latest update:
“We will be back,” he told Britain’s Sunday People of One Direction’s future, noting it would be “silly” for the group not to reunite. “I don’t think anyone needs to worry about us,” he added. “We are fine.”
The original fivesome, known for earworm hits like “What Makes You Beautiful,” lost member Zayn Malik back in March 2015; Malik went on to develop his own solo career. The four remaining members continued to tour together before announcing an indefinite hiatus that began in August 2015. Since then, Horan, Liam Payne and Harry Styles have all inked independent record deals (and Styles will appear in the upcoming war movie Dunkirk directed by Christopher Nolan), while Louis Tomlinson has been spending his time as a new father.

Warning: Spoilers for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
The Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life ending raised a number of questions among fans: namely whether the show will come back for even more episodes.
Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival ended with the much-hyped final four words that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino had originally planned, with Rory revealing to her mother that she is pregnant. Although the dialogue is what Sherman-Palladino had intended to finish the show’s original run, the cliffhanger ending has provided countless theories for viewers who might not be ready to say goodbye to the girls just yet.
When asked about the possibility of more episodes of Gilmore Girls at Netflix, Sherman-Palladino told The Hollywood Reporter that she was waiting to see how the new episodes went over with audiences.
“We really had a very specific journey in our minds and we fulfilled the journey,” she said. “So to us, this is the piece that we wanted to do. And the whole thought about, ‘Is there more, is there more, is there more?’—this has to go out into the universe now. We’ve got to put this to bed. And then whatever happens, happens.”
Bringing the show back for a second run at Netflix would involve a lot of coordination among the very busy cast and executive producers. But Scott Patterson, who plays Luke Danes, seemed more enthusiastic about the prospect when asked about it earlier this year.
“It’d be nice to do it every year,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “Maybe every two years, do a three-month thing, do four more chapters. It was easy to do. It was fun. It was really rewarding and people got a sense that if this was going to be the last thing that we now have some closure.”
