In the new horror film It Stains the Sands Red, a coked-up, vodka-glugging woman named Molly (Brittany Allen from the upcoming Saw film, Jigsaw) is forced to walk miles across the sun-blasted desert outside of Las Vegas in unsuitable footwear and a rapidly diminishing supply of water after her boyfriend’s car gets stuck by the side of the road. To make matters worse — much, much worse, actually — she is pursued by a slow-moving but relentless zombie in this undead apocalypse-set tale. Will Molly sober up enough to deal with her unwelcome fellow traveler and with the demons which haunt her? You can find out when the film is released in theaters and on VOD, July 28.
It Stains the Sand Red is directed and cowritten by Colin Minihan. The film costar Juan Riedinger, Merwin Mondesir, Kris Higgins, Michael Filipowich, Andrew Supanz, and Nico David.
