When Mannequins Get Married
A lot of people are trying their hands (and bodies) at the recent Internet craze, but some succeed better than others. This family in Austin, TX, for example, took it to the next level by their incredible wedding-themed #MannequinChallenge video. They wired beer bottles on strings; they trained their eyelids to resist the urge to bat and they simply kicked ass with their video.
Red Carpet Freeze
That’s how you do a red carpet! All cast and publicists froze to make their own #MannequinChallenge video during the premiere of Edge of 17 in Los Angeles. That included Hailee Steinfeld, Haley Lu Richardson, Hayden Szeto, Blake Jenner, Kelly Fremon Craig and Kyra Sedgwick.
Hairspray Live!
Okay, now that we’ve forgotten Fox’s truly horrendous Rocky Horror Picture Show rendition, can we get a bit optimistic about the oncoming Hairspray Live? The TV special will air on December 7 with Maddie Baillio leading the cast. The team behind the newest version of John Waters’ classic decided to modernize things a little bit and shot a special promo in the style of #MannequinChallenge.
USA Gymnastics Strike Some Poses
The stars of USA Gymnastics jumped on the bandwagon and posted their take on the challenge. Everyone from Simone Biles to Nastia Liukin showed their money poses during the Kellogg’s Tour in Boston.
Police Goes “Freeze!”
Police officers in Kingston, UK, took their own catchphrase “Freeze!” literally and shot their own version of #MannequinChallenge, which they posted on Kingston Police’s official YouTube channel. One of the policemen is inspecting a bike and the other two are apprehending a man drinking tea (they ARE British after all!).
America’s Got Mannequins
The America’s Got Talent crew couldn’t resist showing that they have some talents themselves. The talent for posing, for example. And the knack for clever trend-accumulating marketing. The video is everything you’d expect it to be — the contestants are getting ready to audition; the judges show all kinds of reactions and we’re left to wonder if this creative outburst is a good enough reason to give the show another try…

Top eight best tennis players of the world met in London… the rest wasn’t an anecdote but more of a viral video. Novak Djokovic, Milos Raonic, Marin Cilic, Kei Nishikori, Dominic Thiem, Andy Murray, Gael Monfils and Stan Wawrinka all starred in the tuxedo-heavy video, which reportedly took just ten minutes to pull off.

But while they’re not getting back to the studio, the ladies are willing to reform at some extent as proven by their #MannequinChallenge video.

What happens when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers visit the White House? They do the most epic Mannequin Challenge video in history with the coolest first lady in history. Sadly Barack Obama was out that day. Maybe pass a challenge to him?
