Al Pacino portrays a decorated homicide detective named Ray Archer who partners with criminal profiler Will Ruiney (Karl Urban, of the Star Trek films and Dredd) to catch a vicious serial killer playing a twisted version of the child’s game hangman. Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect) costars as journalist Christi Davies, who reports on the crime spree and shadows the detectives.
Hangman is directed by Johnny Martin and written by Michael Caissie, Charles Hutting, and Phil Hawkins. The film will be released on Ultra VOD on Nov. 24 and in theaters and On Demand on Dec. 22.
