It was a rough weekend all around for celebrities...except for Beyoncé, who spent her Presidents' Day vacation sitting courtside at the NBA All-Star Game in a $21,000 Gucci robe. For some it came to physical confrontations and for others it meant staying a step ahead of hackers. Here's what you missed over the weekend.
Throwin' 'Bows
Aaron Carter was forced to seek out medical treatment after an altercation with his opening act on Friday Night. During Carter’s performance at an Illinois venue called the Looney Bin, security moved in on the wandering opener, ILL State, for harassing the audience. According to witnesses, the opening musician had been making his way through the crowd and grabbing people’s phones to record video without their consent. As the disruptive man was being removed, Carter attempted to add insult to injury by shouting “Bye Felipe,” the supposed masculine take on the ever-popular “Bye Felicia.” ILL State — who happens to be of Hispanic origin — didn’t appreciate the seemingly racist farewell. He escaped security’s grasp and bolted towards Carter on stage, attacking the singer and ultimately sending him to the hospital. But, Nick Carter’s younger brother was able to tough it out and took to Twitter to update his concerned fanbase.
Everything is good for right now, police are investigating.

Throwin' 'Bows (cont.)
Big Sean wasn’t exempt from the spontaneous brutality of this weekend either. The Detroit rapper made an appearance in Queens, NY for an autograph signing of his latest album, I Decided, when he was attacked by a random, unprovoked man. Fortunately for Kanye West’s protégé, his security team and nearby police were quick to respond, grabbing the man and taking him away. Though Sean tried to keep the event running, the store made the decision to shut it down, ruining the day for numerous fans who had purchased the album and stood outside for hours, waiting for their turn to meet the “Blessings” artist. Sean issued an apology via Twitter, but also shed some much needed, non-judgemental light on the bizarre situation.
some guy waited in line in the cold since 10am, bought my CD, when I signed his CD n shook his hand he TRIED to hit me off guard

— Sean Don (@BigSean) February 18, 2017
He claimed he had wrote songs for Michael Jackson, Jay Z n was wit Birdman etc. I'm hoping he's getting the proper treatment he needs.

Milo Yiannopoulos: Pedophilia Advocate
Controversial troll Milo Yiannopoulos’ illogical, hateful rhetoric is finally catching up to him, and the outspoken Conservative is being hit where it hurts: his wallet. The stubborn British Breitbart News writer managed to take things yet another step too far when a podcast aired on The Drunken Peasants channel, during which he basically endorsed pedophilia between sexually confused pre-teens and older men. He said:
"We get hung up on this sort of child abuse stuff to the point where we are heavily policing consensual adults… In the homosexual world, particularly, some of those relationships between younger boys and older men — the sort of ‘coming of age' relationship — those relationships in which those older men help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable, sort of rock, where they can't speak to their parents."
Taking advantage of someone dealing with the complexities of sexuality and not in the right frame of mind is beyond horrid, and one of the commentators went so far as to compare the atrocities to those committed by priests of the Catholic Church on young boys. Of course Yiannopoulos, always needing to get the final, inappropriate word in, replied:
"But you know what? I'm grateful for Father Michael. I wouldn't give nearly such good head if it wasn't for him."

With the emergence of this interview, the few organizations who stood behind the writer — who’s already been banned from Twitter following his racist, sexist harassment of actress Leslie Jones — are finally abandoning ship. His recently extended invitation to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference has been revoked in a matter of days. Simon & Schuster — the insensitive book publishers who were willing to produce Yiannopoulos’ book, Dangerous — have since withdrawn their offer to print the autobiography. Lastly, the 33-year-old’s bread and butter, aka Breitbart News, is also considering parting ways with the nonsensical, self-contradicting man. While we’re happy so many of these establishments have decided to wise up and take action, unfortunately it’s a little too late. However, we can just enjoy watching Larry Wilmore tell Yianopoulos to go fuck himself on repeat until we feel better about the situation.
'The Lion King' Casts Its Lions
Just when you were wondering what movie would be next to undergo the live-action remake treatment, news broke that The Lion King was up on the docket. Naturally, fans of the 1994 Disney animated classic were in a tizzy — after all, the flick received numerous awards for its storyline, gorgeous artwork and incredible accompanying soundtrack. Luckily Jon Favreau, director of the upcoming live adaptation, ventured onto social media to announce his two most important — and most perfect — casting choices. Donald Glover will take on the role of Simba, while James Earl Jones will return to reprise his role as the OG King of the Pridelands, Mufasa. Get excited!

The Return of Lana del Rey
It’s been a while since we’ve been bestowed with new music from Lana del Rey, but fans were gifted with new music this weekend — albeit prematurely and illegally. Slightly ahead of schedule, her new single called “Love” was uploaded to Vimeo for all to enjoy...that is until her record label caught on and removed the link. Surprisingly, the label then uploaded the single onto iTunes shortly after. Putting herself an extra step ahead of the situation, del Rey then released an out of this world music video for her new track, true to the classic Lana that we love. Maybe now she’ll take a page from Taylor Swift’s book and store her songs on a password protected iPad, locked tight in a briefcase and attended to by intimidating security guards.
