One thing we often forget (or rather choose to forget) when we dish on our favorite celebrities is that they are human, too. And just like any other human beings, they are vulnerable and suffer from all sorts of mental conditions, which sometimes push them to do shocking things. Let’s recall 40 celebrity cases, some of which ended with tragedies.

 

Robin Williams: Depression

 


Depression took this brilliant comedian away from us before he could share his gift of acting with us for many more years. Robin Williams took his own life in August of 2014.

 

Brooke Shields: Postpartum Depression

 

Gorgeous actress/model Brooke Shields suffered from Postpartum Depression, which is a very common problem for a lot of women around the world.
