Disney's Star Wars Land is Set to Open in 2019

Star Wars fans will be happy to know that Disney has finally released some kind of timeline Star Wars Land.

Chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced that Star Wars Land is set to open in 2019 during an earnings call on Tuesday (January 7). This will also time nicely with the opening of Star Wars: Episode IX, which is meant to open in theaters later that year.

Announced back in 2015, Star Wars Land will be constructed at both Disney World in Orlando, FL, and Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, and they've already been building since last summer. Each will be the largest mono-themed constructions for both parks.
