Russian collective Easy M has been making lots of people dance in sweet euphoria for six years now, ever since the nu disco band started popping out catchy feel-good tunes. Inspired by the likes of Hot Chip, Jupiter and Scissor Sisters, they’ve enjoyed local success, supporting acts like Bloc Party, Hercules and Love Affair and Friendly Fires on their Russian gigs.
And what a better way to kick off Valentine’s Day than with a collection of highly danceable tunes? The 4-track EP Dreamers we’re exclusively premiering today is Easy M’s latest offering and sees the band teaming up with New York-based vocalist Koran Daniels for the lead single. “This EP is about dreams, goals, the importance of being yourself and also about internal honesty in the choice of life,” the band told us. “For example, 'Beautiful World' is about a wonderful place that you will not find on any map, but it is in everyone's heart. The place where there’s no war but only clear sky above.” We can surely use some of that right now.
