Mariah Carey has returned with "I Don't," a new breakup anthem.
"See, I used to love you," belts Carey on the chorus over a gritty bass line. "But I don't, I don't / 'Cause boy I was buggin' / Thinkin' somehow I could trust you."
YG, best known for his 2016 hit "FDT (F-ck Donald Trump)," plays Carey's lover on the song. "I know you love me," raps YG in response. "You just don't trust me / You don't understand me / But you love it when I call you Ms. Carey."
In a Facebook Live stream, Carey mentioned that she'd rather release more singles ala "I Don't" rather than a full album (via Billboard). Her last full-length LP was 2014's Me. I Am Mariah...the Elusive Chanteuse.
