The Shins will officially return with Heartworms, their fifth album, on March 10. Ahead of the new LP, the band has released a bubbly, psychedelic song called "Name For You." James Mercer wrote the hopeful song for his daughters, according to NPR.
For the first time since 2001's Oh, Inverted World, Mercer self-produced the record. "I wanted to do something more handmade,” said Mercer to Entertainment Weekly. "I wanted to get back into the production and engineering side of the work as well as the writing."
The 10-track record also features "Dead Alive," which the band shared in October.
