Michelle Branch grows up on "Hopeless Romantic," her dark, airy new love song.
"I mean I don't understand it," sings Branch. "'Cause it's magic, but it's tragic / I know you're gonna eat me alive."
Co-written by The Black Keys' Patrick Carney, it intermingles tinges of rock and orchestral pop with Branch's passionate vocals.
"Hopeless Romantic" is the title track of her new album out on April 7.
"A lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesn’t mean the end of the world, it just means letting go and moving on and knowing that you’re going to find something better, as hard as that is," says Branch in a press release.
