10 Songs to Soundtrack Spring Break 2017

Spring break is just around the corner, and we all know what that means: bikinis, friends, parties and short-lived romances. And what is a party without a masterfully executed playlist? We decided to take some weight off your soon-to-be-tanned shoulders and picked 10 of the finest songs to get you in a bright and sunny mood.

Selena Gomez & Kygo – "It Ain’t Me"

The newly crowned queen of dancetastic collaborations, Selena Gomez is back with a new banger just in time for spring.

This time around she’s dropping the bass and killing us with kindness in the company of the man who got the whole world longing for long holidays in the company of coconuts and marimbas – Kygo, the king of tropical house himself. This tune is destined to make your every spring break memory count with its anthem-like chorus, sunshine-lit drop and overall teenage melancholy vibes.

Anne-Marie – "Ciao Adios"

Fresh off her massive Clean Bandit collaboration “Rockabye,” young British sensation Anne-Marie is ready to take the dancefloor all by herself with her newest pop masterpiece.

Chances are you’ll be spending spring break in some exotic place, so it’s important to know how to act bossy wherever you end up. “Ciao Adios” sees Anne-Marie giving her ex the middle finger in several languages, in case he didn’t already get the memo. That’s the perfect #mood for your upcoming holiday: single, proud and ready to dance the night away.

Lorde – "Green Light"

Poor guys. Looks like this spring it’s all about cool girls calling their uncool exes on their bluff.

We had to wait a very, very long time for New Zealand's resident popstar to grace us with a comeback single and “Green Light” exceeds all expectations: it’s adventurous, sonically challenging, sad, fun, quirky and plane dancey. Crying at the discoteque never felt so good.

Ariana Grande ft. Future – "Everyday"

Looks like teen romance does have some future (pun intended).

Leave it up to Ariana to splash us from a grande cup of bassy romantic vibes and the cutest hip-hop moves ever captured on film. Making out inside a Laundromat, on a bus and on top of a stranger’s car? #SpringBreakGoals all the way.

Marshmello ft. Noah Cyrus x Ookay – "Chasing Colors"

Spring break may be a far cry from a night at camp, but a little marshmallow never hurt. Or Marshmello to be correct.

The newest member of the masked DJ family proved his place on every spring break 2017 playlist with this trippy trap number which is one half dance filler, one half cartoon-gone-wrong. In other words: a perfect addition to our collection.

Matthew Koma – "Hard to Love"

It is indeed hard to love when you’re all about that party life. But it doesn’t mean you still can’t try to be a love hero, right?

Just play this song during an afterparty and see if you can score yourself that much needed spring break romance.

Griffyn & Illenium ft. Daya – "Feel Good"

Daya, the owner of that huge voice behind that huge The Chainsmokers hit “Don’t Let Me Down,” does not let us down indeed. And since spring break is all about feeling good, we couldn’t leave this fresh banger out.

Depends on where you stand, “You make me feel good, I like it” may sounds like either the laziest or the most genius line in pop history, but you can’t deny the power of this tune: it’s everything a spring anthem should sound like.

Alesso – "Falling"

“Look at me, I’m falling” takes a whole new meaning when we’re talking about all the spring break misbehaving. So take our advice: make sure there’s always somebody next to you to catch you if the partying will knock you off your feet.

Jax Jones – "You Don’t Know Me"

Spring break is the perfect time to show the world what you’re made of. Including those annoying “do you want a drink?” types.

Embrace your independency and bust some moves to this absolute banger from the rising British producer Jax Jones and sass-galore singer Raye.

Little Mix – "Touch"

Whether you’re planning a #GalsNightOut or a romantic dinner, this song will get your mood sky high in no time.

The recipe is rather exquisite: take four fun British girls, one hell of a pop song, some questionable but attention-grabbing outfits, tons of guys with well-defined abs and you get your impeccable spring break party cooked, well done.
