7 Women Who Could Be WWE's Sister Abigail

That crazy Randy Orton has voices in his head, so it came as no surprise when he turned on Bray Wyatt. The betrayal everyone saw coming finally occurred last week on Smackdown Live as Orton showed off his pyromaniac skills and burned down the Wyatt compound. That dirty shack in the woods also happens be the sacred burial ground of Sister Abigail, the spiritual force of The Wyatt Family.

For years, the never seen but often referenced Sister Abigail has been a character the WWE Universe has wanted to see in flesh form. But much like the Anonymous Raw General Manager and other pointless WWE creations, there’s been no payoff yet. There might be a light at the end of the tunnel for Abigail’s appearance. Now that WWE has finally given Bray a push, they might be also looking to do something with the dark Sister, especially as we ramp up to WrestleMania 33 next month.

Randy’s feud with Bray will probably include supernatural elements from Bray’s cult leader gimmick. The big reveal should be Sister Abigail finally showing up to exact her revenge on Orton. In anticipation of that moment, we offer up seven women who could be Sister Abigail. Hop to the next page to see our predictions.

AJ Lee

This one’s a bit of a stretch, but we’re using WWE logic, which means nothing has to make sense and anything can happen. The last time we saw AJ was at WrestleMania 31, promptly followed by her retirement from the sport. Since that time, Mrs. CM Punk has been under the radar, enjoying life outside of WWE. The big question is why would she want to return? And more specifically, as Sister Abigail? Since her husband’s not on good terms with the company, it’s likely that she’ll stand by his side and not cross the line to come back.

However, getting to be part of a major WrestleMania angle with a partner as interesting as Bray Wyatt, that might be enough to have her mull over the possibility. Maybe Sister Abigail possesses AJ’s body or is one of the personalities AJ has rotating in her head. There’s many creative ways to work her into the role.

Heidi Lovelace/Ruby Riot

If WWE wants to really build Sister Abigail into a full time WWE character, they might want to go with a relatively unknown but skilled wrestler to fill the part. They currently have an appealing option down in their Performance Center.

Popular independent wrestler Heidi Lovelace, known for her punk rock style and tough wrestling moves, recently joined NXT. WWE has given her the new ring name of Ruby Riot but if they wanted to really utilize Heidi, they could directly plug her into the Wyatt/Orton feud. With the tattoos, short hair and make-up, Heidi has a unique non-diva look that would mesh well with what we know of Sister Abigail and The Wyatt Family. She could not only be a strong member and partner to Bray, but she could be an Undertaker type force in the women’s division.

Mika Rotunda

Considering she’s Bray Wyatt’s real-life sister, WWE might as well cast her as Sister Abigail. Who better to play off Bray and build a natural on-screen connection than his sister Mika Rotunda. Breaking the kayfabe wall, Bray, Mika and Bo Dallas are all siblings, kids of Mike Rotunda aka Irwin R. Schyster (IRS). Even though Mika isn’t a wrestler, she’s been raised in the family business and working with her brother can create an eerie yet compelling Sister Abigail.

With cool horror style make-up or a brand new animal mask, Mika can really embrace the role and be more of guiding force/manager for her brother, than a full-time wrestler.

Kris Jenner

Look into a mirror and call out Kris Jenner’s name three times to summon the monster. She won’t reveal your future, rather she’ll suck your life-force dry. Is Kris Jenner a horror urban legend? Well that depends on who you ask, but Mother Kardashian is a master of creeping us out with her maternal (or lack-there-of) skills. WWE loves cramming celebrities anywhere they can to generate press. Would the company be so desperate as to cast Kris Jenner as Sister Abigail? You better believe it.

With their E! connection through Total Divas, WWE might pull some strings and get Kris to do some vignettes as Abigail, cackling and scaring kids with that Botox grin.

Blue Pants/Leva Bates

The underdog pick on this list is the quirky and cool Leva Bates better known to the WWE Universe as Blue Pants, due to her brief time in NXT. Bates is like a live-action cartoon with a loveable personality and cosplay ring attire. Having competed all over the world and in the indy circuit, Bates is an accomplished wrestler that has a good look and strong appeal. She has the talent — all she needs is the right character vehicle.

We’re betting that Leva’s ability to morph into many various pop culture roles would be useful in becoming Sister Abigail. She could fully commit to the dark, supernatural role, by changing her attire and appearance to be more in line with what The Wyatt Family is.

Miesha Tate

It’s no secret that WWE has been courting MMA stars to bolster their ranks. Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor have played with the idea of joining WWE in the past. Vince McMahon and his crew might see Sister Abigail as an option to bring in and use a former UFC star. This past November Miesha Tate announced her retirement from UFC and MMA, which sparked rumors about whether or not she’ll be joining WWE.

She’s currently working for Fox Sports as a commentator, but with the right deal and guaranteed money from Vince, you better believe Miesha would try her hand at rasslin’. Looking past her impressive resume, having her debut as a version of Sister Abigail would instantly give her a dynamic that she wouldn’t have just being billed as a former MMA star. The supernatural gimmick along with her fighting skills would make her a special attraction in the women’s division, which would definitely include a championship run!

Eva Marie

Remember her? It’s been awhile since we last saw the crimson haired centerfold on WWE TV. Outside of her appearing on Total Divas, WWE hasn’t figured out what they want to do with her. The fans hate her, she can’t wrestle and is currently nothing more than eye candy. With nothing to lose at this stage, the creative team should completely repackage her and pull a Dustin Runnels.

What we mean by Dustin is his transition from the son of Dusty Rhodes to the bizarre Goldust. That drastic change was a risk but paid off big for him. Eva Marie should be open to doing something as wild to stay in WWE. Reemerging as Sister Abigail, Eva would be almost unrecognizable with a gothic appearance. The red hair replaced with a jet black color, and dark make-up to complete her unusual look. She’d be like Enchantress from Suicide Squad. Stranger things have happened.
